Look closely at the shirts and let this one soak in. You’re probably never going to see anything like it again, unless of course teams from West Virginia keep winning things worthy of mass t-shirt conceit. But I guess so goes the life of an NIT Champ. I mean you have to figure, if the T-shirt company were that smart, they’d be working other tournament.
Perhaps the best part about this thing, well, besides the obvious potty humor gold, is that the manufacturers were selling the erred shirts on their website; jeez, is Stevie Wonder headin’ their logistics over there?
So Congrats West Virginia, on bringing the NIT back to its rightful place; the Big East. And a big shout out to the state as a whole. Somewhere, probably in a tricked out Chevy Camaro, Kevin Pittsnogle is smiling…and scaring the heck out of people in the process.
