Jerry Tipton has a stage in front of all of the 40-80 year olds to criticize anyone he wants.
But wheres the stage to criticize him?
Even Chip Crosby, Matt’s cohost on “Best Damn Sports Movie LateNight” has his back.
Obviously the internet is another stage yet it doesn’t reach the 40-80 year olds who grew up with the paper. Until those people die off and newsprint as we know it disappears there neds to be a transitional adaptation.
The stage that should also be available to criticize Tipton is the same stage Tipton uses, the paper. But I’m not saying the editorial section near the back page. I’m saying newspapers will have to adapt to not only give criticism but also to have journalists who criicize other journalists, even on their own paper.
If you think about it, it’s not really product suicide. It creates a dialog that people can follow and have reason not to trash the Herald Leader anymore since it’s not so one sided.
Once this idea is used I would appreciate my 20% finders fee.
I’d read a pro kicking Tipton in the teeth every day on the same page.

5- Screw that, get into the newspaper. Print out a memo/flyer/whatever criticizing Tipton, make it interesting, make it truthful, make it reasonable. Make hundreds of copies. Go around and put it in the sports section of papers at the groceries/convenience stores etc. For the truly motivated spend the 75 cents and put it into the newspaper machines. Find a few like minded friends, do a run first thing in the morning to stores near your house, rinse, repeat daily.

Someone plz explain to me the validity of Landon being a walk-on and having to sit out a year when transferring. Especially when there is a coaching change. What about CJ Henry? Is he having to sit out at KU? It might actually help Landon in the long run. I think its BS he has to sit out though. I really liked the way Landon played and enjoyed watching him in what little time he played. He’ll always be a Cat to me.

Quick note on the Cleveland videos. The creator, Mike Polk is a writer and stand up comedian in Cleveland. TNT paid him $4000.00 for 44 second of video.

#30 Not joking. Something is going on. I am not sure what it is but word
is starting to get out by people who are “inside sources” all over the internet,
not just UK or UL “inside sources, other schools as well that UL is in some
serious trouble especially Pitino. All of them are keeping quiet right now
and I am just wondering if Matt will share what he knows.

Forde who is good friends with Pitino and co-author of his new book is all of a
sudden even before the Memphis allegation stuff, trying to do what he can to shine
the light away from UL and towards UK.
Then he said if I can’t see that something is going on then I needed to invest

I don’t know if Pitino is in trouble but I believe his days are numbered at UL. How can he continue to live and coach in this town after the Sypher fiasco, I know I would get the hell out asap

Anyway, your post has nothing to do with my point that Jerry Tipton as a writer for a newspaper has a stage/platform in front of an aging demographic between 40 - 80 years to criticize people yet never has to weather criticism in front of his own audience.
I’m sure there are tons of 67 year old on this website.
We can sit here and talk about what a poor job he does in being balanced yet it’s an isolated discussion. While his article sits on the waiting table at every dentist, barbershop, and Athletic Department coffee table our “blog” efforts remain sideshow.

I for one hope NOTHING is wrong with UL right now.
Not that I give a crap. But I’ll LOVE beating UL more with a violation-less Pitino and with UL being seen as a Top 25 team next year.
What will be the fun (with our new coach and new look team), of beating a UL team who just lost their coach (or who will lose it), is or will be on probation, and has no star players to beat up on.
Thats JMHO…. and I hope we CREAM UL with Pitino a few times before he leaves or retires.
