This is truly growing OLD. I’m all for Wall coming to UK and I think it would make us a great team. I live in Raleigh and have heard that the new coach at Central is a really good player developer and gets players to train under him like Raymond Felton…however, IT IS FREAKIN’ CENTRAL!!! I am honestly hoping that we blow Bledsoe away and he goes ahead and commits…then (I never thought I’d say this) Wall would just add to that signing.

If he is truely undecided at this point, I feel the only factors that he may be waiting on is Jodie and Pat. He spoke earlier on more than one occassion that he wants to be a piece in the puzzle.

One thing I’m really getting tired of hearing is Wall say “If I’m being honest” or “truthfully” in all his statements. It’s obvious when someone starts a sentence like that they are SURELY lying or misleading.

Bledsoe is freaking 5 star. He just doesn’t want to fight Wall for minutes. That’s why he’s now so interested in Memphis. Drop Wall, and Bledsoe commits on his visit. The only flaw with that plan is that Bledsoe has an eligibility issue.

It looks like Wall really wants to stay in NC.
I think UK needs to sign Bledsoe but keep chasing Wall. If Wall comes, awesome. If not, UK will still be set for 2009-10.

I said this like 3 weeks ago, that UK should have gone after Bledsoe first because he was CLEARLY interested in UK and would come if offered. I didn’t want him to go to Florida and Wall would go somewhere and UK would be left with their hands empty. Well,now its just a waiting game basically. Everything is going to play out, I said this when the Henry commitment was around the corner, now looks like the same thing. We will see who is coming and who is leaving, as well if Meeks and Patterson are coming back, although I expect that Meeks will.

I probably in the minority, but stuff like this makes me sure that he’s going to be my favorite UK player of all-time. He’s not a headcase or a problem child - just a kid having a lot of fun. Unfortunately, its at the expense of college basketball fans. But, I’ll get over it.

It doesn’t matter if anyone’s patience is tried. It’s Wall doing what he figures will garner himself the most pub. It’s a game — who cares? We’ll find out where he signs and it doesn’t matter if you want it on your schedule. Try thinking outside of your little world. Don’t even expect him to choose until May 20th.

Sometimes we post comments to laugh, cry, complain, celebrate, whatever we are feeling regarding the Cats. And maybe, just maybe, some of us see this as an escape from the life we lead, blow off a little steam and worry about something trivial. We all know we are better off now than we were two months ago and that’s exciting as hell. Two months ago we wouldn’t even be having this discussion. Forget about Wall. UK prob. won’t win his services. Whoever he does choose will be on probation for years anyway, cuz it’s its gonna take about 150k (or more) to get him. NCAA will eventually find out and the program will be in the gutter. Why else would Miami of all places be on Wall’s list?!? He’s a DIVA, no 2 ways about it. He cares more about himself and his NBA stock than w/e school buys him. FORGET ABOUT WALL…HES NOT WORTH ONLY 1 YR!

Don’t you think most of these high school kids are prolonging things just to have an excuse to cut class (by visiting any school with a basketball program)? Plus, it’s nice being treated like royalty at every pit stop along the road, from UK or any other mid-major for that matter. I’m surprised Happy Osborne hasn’t opened up the non-air conditioned gym at Georgetown College for John to visit.

I would be very happy with Bledsoe and possibly Stephenson and call it a day.
That would give us the necessary ingredients to be a top ten team next season with some very positive chemistry….

#51–SPOT ON, DUDE!! And since this is a blog, and I can add by two cents, I would just like to say that I think all this fall-ler-rah is hurting Wall. All it makes me think is (and please don’t clobber me too much) which university is going to “pay” him more to attend their school. North Carolina Central; c’mon guys. I agree with the others who are saying he just needs to say “I’m not going to make any decision until (fill in a date certain). But enough with this ridiculous stuff. It has grown extremely tiresome.
