[Moderated by Matt Jones]

Tonight is a day that we at Kentucky Sports Radio have looked upon with some dread. On the night of one of the great traditions in college sports, UK basketball Senior Night, we have the unpleasant realization that it will be the last appearance in Rupp Arena for one Woo. As longtime readers surely know, my affinity for Woo is off the charts. The Big Pole to me represents all the great things about sports….he tries hard, he is a bit awkward, he is extremely funny, slightly goofy, nice to the fans and an all-around team first player. I loved Woo from the first interview I ever saw with him (When was the last time you cried? A: Five Years ago. What food did you eat as a kid that you didnt like? A: Dry Steak). IT will be sad to see him go.
I hope fans realize how important it is that they take a break from the negativity and show appreciation to the Seniors. IT is the culmination of a four year experience for them and hopefully the fans will react accordingly. Plus Jai Lucas is in town…..and oh yeah, the Cats really do need a win. Cats-Dogs…..Who you got?

February 28th, 2007 at 3:11 pm
Today’s updated Bracketology on ESPN has UK back at 8 seed vs Oregon with potential matchup with Wisconsin in 2nd. I think they could beat Wisconsin since they play a slow-tempo game and aren’t the same without Brian Butch. Onto tonights games…Cats 73 UGA65

Claws over Paws 77-71
February 28th, 2007 at 3:17 pm
The King is dead … Long live the King, the great WOO departs along with some dead wood. Just another year and the 2004 Class can say so long too. I await the future so I can put these years in the trash can.
GA 90 UK 85 - UK leads by 15 at half but it’s the same olds ending.
February 28th, 2007 at 3:18 pm
I think the CATS get a big win and send the seniors off nicely w/a 77-68 win!
Jai Lucas sees how great the Senior Day/Night events are, he remembers the craziness surrounding Midnight Madness, sees a great crowd in the GA game, he knows he loves Tubby Smith, and all is well w/him singing soon w/UK!
February 28th, 2007 at 3:23 pm
“I’m playing for the University of Kentucky. I’d rather be playing two minutes for the University of Kentucky than 30 minutes at a smaller school.” This sums up our man Woo! Well said young man, well said! I wish others on the team had this attitude! Woo will graduate in May w/a sociology degree, way to go!
February 28th, 2007 at 3:26 pm
I going to miss WOO … I hope he stay in Lexington and opens a restaurant.
February 28th, 2007 at 3:34 pm
73-71 Cats win with a last minute blitz where GA can’t inbound the ball and are unable to rebound a free throw miss. Woo 8 & 4, Sheray 4 & 5, Bobby 9 & 3
February 28th, 2007 at 3:34 pm
With so many newspaper articles about Tubby’s job security, I don’t think I saw one talking about tonight’s game. So I hope the Cats come prepared cuz we seem to have trouble against Dennis Felton…Cats by 11.
February 28th, 2007 at 3:35 pm
#7. You are entitled to that opinion, but save it for tomorrow. Regardless of whether you think these guys should be in a Kentucky uniform, they have earned the right walk on the court tonight and cry like babies because they love our state, university and fans.
Even if you hate these guys, send them off in class like every other graduating class here a UK. If you bring your pissing and moaning (booing) to the game, you better hope you aren’t sitting next to me.
February 28th, 2007 at 3:37 pm
#7, I may have misunderstood your post. Ignore my response if you weren’t being a dick head.
February 28th, 2007 at 3:37 pm
KENTUCKY by 15, Woo gets at least 3 dunks, Perry scores 18, and Thomas grabs 10 boards.
February 28th, 2007 at 3:39 pm
Oh, he was being a dick head banjo. He just tried to hide it.Badly
February 28th, 2007 at 3:50 pm
I too will miss the WOOOOOO!!!! It is true that Stukes isn’t
playing tonight for the Dawgs either??
Let’s call it…
UK- 70
UGA- 63
February 28th, 2007 at 3:52 pm
a fond farewell to Woo, you will be greatly missed.
February 28th, 2007 at 4:05 pm
This will be a special night for me as well. Tonight my uncle, one of the great all around guys that you could ever meet, is coming to his first UK game. This past fall, he was diagnosed with ALS. Despite being a life long UK fan, he has never been to a game in person. He has a short list of the things he wants to do before his disease limits his ability to move and I am glad that I can help him scratch one of those things off his list.
This is not a pity post. This is a celebration of a man that faces his daily struggles with the same type of drive and enthusiasm that has exemplified his life. I cannot believe the Cats would let him down on this one. Take a win to the bank. And throw in an extra clap or two for my uncle Jerry.
February 28th, 2007 at 4:09 pm
On t hat note… Yeesh.
February 28th, 2007 at 4:12 pm
We’ll miss Woo, Sheray, and Bobby. They gave their best efforts, and that is all we can ask fro them.
As for coaching and recruiting…
FIRE TUBBY!
February 28th, 2007 at 4:13 pm
Oh, and UK 85, UGA 70.
NEVER PREDICT A LOSS ON SENIOR NIGHT.
February 28th, 2007 at 4:14 pm
Love Woo. Bobby and Sheray have done all they can, not their fault if they didn’t live up to others expectations.
Anyone know if the rumor on Georgia Rivals board is true? Says Stukes didn’t make trip to lex.
February 28th, 2007 at 4:25 pm
#19 I hope the Cats make tonight’s game special for your uncle. Every Cat fan deserves at least once chance to see them in person in Rupp. Make sure you take your camera so you can have pictures of your special night together.
UK - 76
UGA - 62
February 28th, 2007 at 4:25 pm
Dude that is great…..I hope you and your uncle have a great time tonight
February 28th, 2007 at 4:30 pm
Cats by 13 and hopefully a great senior send off b/c all the Seniors have done their best!
February 28th, 2007 at 4:33 pm
Cats fall behind by double digits. Pride kicks in, they claw back and get the win.
Despite the fury within, the crowd is on their best behavior because they are the best fans in college basketball.
I cry. Not cause I’m a wimp but cause I love senior night and I love the seniors regardless of the stat sheet.
February 28th, 2007 at 4:35 pm
Thanks for the post Dude.
Vegas has the Cats giving 7, which is comforting because they’ve has UK’s number the past few weeks. I’ll say UK-66 UGA-60
Bet of the night: Vandy is a 1 point dog at South Carolina, wtf?
February 28th, 2007 at 4:35 pm
Cats 83-68 Woo gets 15, Thomas gets 11 Perry- 20
I hope the fans go crazy for these three cats!
February 28th, 2007 at 4:42 pm
Even Tubby is a shame. You got to give up for the players. Good luck for a good run in the tournment and much success in your future endeavors.
February 28th, 2007 at 4:42 pm
86-63 Cats
February 28th, 2007 at 4:46 pm
My prediction for the rest of the season:
1 We beat UGA tonite
2 Play UF close, but lose by 12 in the end
3 Win the 1st round of the SEC tourney
4 Lose in the second round
5 Get 9 seed in Tourney
6 Finally pull off a good win against a Wisconsin or the like
7 Im pullinf out all the stops and say elite 8. Damnit we have a good team!
February 28th, 2007 at 4:47 pm
btw, Woo is quite mountainous in that picture. I can’t help but hum the words to Toto’s Africa:
“I know that I must do what’s right,
Sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti
I seek to cure what’s deep inside, frightened of this thing that I’ve become”
(cue drums)
February 28th, 2007 at 4:50 pm
Finish it up on a high note seniors. UK 90-75
February 28th, 2007 at 4:58 pm
#34 … 90 pts? We need offense to score that much. I’d love to see it though
February 28th, 2007 at 5:06 pm
Tubby trades the Big Pole for the Big Black Member
February 28th, 2007 at 5:09 pm
Stukes is suspended for tonight’s game, according to UG web site.
February 28th, 2007 at 5:13 pm
UK 72 UG 60
February 28th, 2007 at 5:24 pm
I was going to take Georgia, since they are playing for their lives tonight (bid wise). But, if Stukes doesn’t play, I will take UK by 5 69-64.
On another note, give the guys a break and send them out in style. They deserve that as much as anyone else who has worn the uniform. Again, I tell you it is not THEIR fault they are here. THAT is someone else’s deal, but they have played as hard and well as they could and THAT (in the end) is all any of us could ask of them….I say farewell and think that we my not see their likes amongst us again…..
February 28th, 2007 at 5:31 pm
Don’t you ever get tired of banging on the fans, Matt? Tom Gray sure has rubbed off on you.
February 28th, 2007 at 5:31 pm
The Kentucky Basketball Cats are going to win tonight!
February 28th, 2007 at 5:37 pm
Woo is goings to start tonight, I hope morris starts to
February 28th, 2007 at 5:40 pm
Whatever your opinion is of our program and current players I hope
the fans give the seniors a rousing ovation. They dedicated 4 years
of their life to this program and the appreciation should be shown.
So if you are going to the game, get out of your seat and cheer your
butt off and send the seniors out with a night they will never forget.
February 28th, 2007 at 5:45 pm
Stukes is out (heard it on the radio in ATL).

February 28th, 2007 at 6:14 pm
Meeks is a good basketball player
February 28th, 2007 at 6:19 pm
UGA 69 UK 68 in a shocker.
February 28th, 2007 at 6:19 pm
a BIG thumbs up for these seniors, a pat on the back, and a tip of the hat as well, you cant be mad at 3 players who gave 100% each and every day regardless of hype and skill
woo- my #1 player just for his attitude on what may just be life in general, he seems to have been thankful for even being considered to be a uk player, let alone some peoples favorites
sheray- 100% heart with 75% skill, day in and out he hustled blocked out and did the small things needed to win
perry- hope he goes out with a bang like last year, it seems he came to uk just last year, but now he’ll be leaving us hopefully with fond memories
o yeah, uk 88 uga 76
woo gets 9pts and 7 rbs while thomas and perry dump in 8 pts each
February 28th, 2007 at 6:24 pm
Crawford skips class again, plays 32 minutes and gets 14 points and 5 turnovers…
Stevenson steps it up in practice to prove he belongs… plays 1 minute and gets 2 points and 1 board.
Perry, Woo, and Thomas combine for 18 points and 11 boards and the fans give them a good send off… albiet a thankful one.
Morris goes for 15 and 9 and Meeks is leading scorer with 17.
Cats win 79-68
February 28th, 2007 at 6:28 pm
Cats 92-73. Tubby bashers are just pissed because they had to ride the short bus to school.
February 28th, 2007 at 6:29 pm
Crawford was in class today, at least the one I have with him. Did anyone else hear Ryan Lemond say that Shagari was in the house tonight? Wow, this could be special.
February 28th, 2007 at 6:29 pm
#45 UT is 1-6 on the road in the SEC. You don’t get to play NCAA games at home - in case you didn’t know.
February 28th, 2007 at 6:29 pm
i agree w/ #10
and to #19, thats great, i hope when i get older my family will support me like you seem to support you uncle, ill put in a few extra claps from the upper deck
February 28th, 2007 at 6:31 pm
I just bought 2 mid-level upper deck tickets for $30.00
February 28th, 2007 at 6:32 pm
Sorry for the frustration, but I think the way Tubby is handling Stevenson may be the icing on the cake as far as terrible decision making goes. Fans can sometimes be off on who should play and who shouldn’t, but when you have almost every fan out there thinking a guy should start and he’s playing 1 minute a game… it’s obvious the kid isn’t playing enough. He’s had to sit behind to far less talented forwards all year, despite shining when he was playing in the beginning of the year… if he’s not practicing super hard it’s probably because he feels terible about not being able to play over Thomas and Perry… if I got 0 minutes I’d really not feel like practiceing hard either… does he want the kid to play 8 minutes over 5 games and suddenly show up and just explode? I seriously wouldn’t be surprised to see another transfer at the end of the year. This is being handled very piss poorly.
February 28th, 2007 at 6:36 pm
#56 Bad mouth Thomas and Perry after the game. It’s senior night.
February 28th, 2007 at 6:36 pm
As a pal of mine noted, it’s a shame you can’t put Morris’ talent in Woo’s mindset, it would make for a devastatingly good big man.
Hope the seniors do well after they graduate.
February 28th, 2007 at 6:36 pm
In regard to # 56, so now we have psychic insight into Perry Stevenson. You were on that bus weren’t you?
February 28th, 2007 at 6:38 pm
No Levi “Lucky Shot” Stukes, no Mike Mercer…Cats better win this one in a walk.
February 28th, 2007 at 6:41 pm
Yes Ryan did just say that…he is here to see the Seniors off
on their night, and I guess would have been his too.
February 28th, 2007 at 6:42 pm
lol, good one, way to take a serious post and call me a mentally challenged person. I only work on 20 million dollar jets for a living… but yeah you’re pretty clever. I think I specifically apologized ahead of time for being frustrated, and never said that the seniors were terrible or bad mouthed them… it was a seperate subject about how i don’t think he’ll play much this game either (everyone’s making predictions, in case you didn’t read the rest of the thread) Saying he’s probably not practicing 100% because he’s probably frustrated about getting zero minutes is not being a psychic… it’s not being blindly ignorant to how kids minds work. If you play me 0 minutes, then 1 minute, then 0 minutes… it’s going to be hard for me to practice full out. And whos to say he’s not practice full out anyway… atleast in his mind he could be practicing his ass off. Go ahead nad take cheap shots at me though for stating an opinion.
February 28th, 2007 at 6:43 pm
I would like to see Stevenson get more playing time. However, in watching the games, it is clearly evident he will be better suited next year with some more muscle and weight. He’s had trouble hanging onto rebounds and isn’t strong enough inside to go up strong with it against a defender. Most of the times I’ve seen him score is when’s open off doubling of Morris rather than one on one.
February 28th, 2007 at 6:47 pm
Cats win 72-61 in a game where I am sure to contemplate banging my head against the wall
February 28th, 2007 at 6:49 pm
Someone has to clean the squirrel out of the tire waffle.
February 28th, 2007 at 6:49 pm
What you do for a living doesn’t matter. We’re all frustrated, have a great game. No offense intended…wait, that sounds like “Randy” Morris. LOL
February 28th, 2007 at 6:50 pm
#65 Guilty dog barks first.
February 28th, 2007 at 6:51 pm
I agree to some extent wilcats4life, I think he’ll be much better next year, but to play him 0 minutes and say it’s because he’s not practicing hard, yet play Crawford 34 after admitting that he’d skipped classes… com on. I just don’t see any reason to ever play him 0 minutes or play him 2 or 3 in the rest of the last 4 games ya know? He needs PT because he might be THE GUY next year… and getting so little PT this year could really hurt him for next year. We’ll see though, I just don’t think it’s because he’s not practicing 100%…
February 28th, 2007 at 6:51 pm
Shake-n-Bake!
February 28th, 2007 at 6:55 pm
Steven Leffler…Just exactly what task could a mentally c
hallenged person in the “working on” of a jet, perform?
This should be interesting.
February 28th, 2007 at 6:59 pm
Matt you can delete that if you want, but if I can’t even post a perfectly legit, non bitching post without getting called mentally challenged and a fag then this site is no longer being policed at all….
February 28th, 2007 at 7:01 pm
Jacob Adams, I agree with what you’re saying. I thought Stevenson’s play against Tennessee and Alabama in the few minutes he was the court warranted more PT. Plus, he is good for covering the inbounder for the full court press. I like all four freshman and think they have great potential regardless of who is coach in the future.
February 28th, 2007 at 7:06 pm
Ramel Bradley is afraid of Jodie Meeks taking his spot.
February 28th, 2007 at 7:11 pm
Meeks should get his spot, he’s a better open court ball handler and his shot selection, while still a bit over anxious at times, is still better then ramel bradleys at this point. I like the way he gets his shots too, he works really hard without the ball and gets a lot of shots of cutting to the basket as opposed to just dribbling around looking for it like Ramel. Bradley is good, but I like our chances with meeks in there better.
February 28th, 2007 at 7:17 pm
What time does the game actually start? I’m at work and can’t access the game.
February 28th, 2007 at 7:17 pm
If things work out I can see Meeks and Lucas back there next year,,Now that’s a foundation.
February 28th, 2007 at 7:18 pm
8 roughly
February 28th, 2007 at 7:20 pm

#81- I am the father of Anna Nicole Smith’s baby.
February 28th, 2007 at 7:41 pm
GO CATS
Also–Terry Meiners was playing it again
February 28th, 2007 at 7:47 pm
Ladies and Gentlemen…We have a WINNER…………………………….
Shhhhhhhhhhh..he may have fallen asleep.
February 28th, 2007 at 8:02 pm
Here we go, Hope the seniors have a big game
February 28th, 2007 at 8:04 pm
Thunder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
February 28th, 2007 at 8:04 pm
74) Right now, Meeks is playing better than Jasper and Crawford, but we still need Bradley’s scoring as a starter.
Meeks seemed to run the point well when he was doing it at times in the last few games, too.
February 28th, 2007 at 8:05 pm
Cats by 16, thanks in large part to the absence of Stukes.
February 28th, 2007 at 8:07 pm
Angus Young ROCKS
February 28th, 2007 at 8:09 pm
lol. this senior class is special
February 28th, 2007 at 8:22 pm
HOWS IT GOING?
February 28th, 2007 at 8:23 pm
There is a Porter and Stevenson sighting in Rupp
February 28th, 2007 at 8:25 pm
Can anyone tell me why Fox Sports South in Cincy is blacking out the game? This happening for anyone else?
February 28th, 2007 at 8:25 pm
9-8 Cats
February 28th, 2007 at 8:25 pm
92) Yup, I saw Porter turn it over almost immediately and Stevenson foul at midcourt. LOL.
February 28th, 2007 at 8:26 pm
Jacob Adam Brooks,
A mentally challenged person could do many things such as wash the plane or other things. Don’t think they can’t do things. Because they can…many people on this board are living proof haha
February 28th, 2007 at 8:26 pm
Just can’t run a offence.
February 28th, 2007 at 8:26 pm
93) It’s Lincoln Financial carrying it. FSS usually run LFS games?
February 28th, 2007 at 8:28 pm
#93, try channel 64 in cincy. They pick up the LFS games when UK is on during SEC play
February 28th, 2007 at 8:29 pm
So, Bobby Perry starting to heat up at crunch time of the season…again.
February 28th, 2007 at 8:30 pm
It’s fine with me if Bobby seems to catch his March fever.
February 28th, 2007 at 8:30 pm
93) You can watch the game fofr free on yahoo sports
February 28th, 2007 at 8:32 pm
101) Hopefully it’s contagious.
February 28th, 2007 at 8:32 pm
That is 3 times that Perry Stevenson has successfully fed Morris
with a lob over top. Then Morris trys to pay him back and Stevenson
can’t hold on to the ball. Oh well, I like getting Morris involved early and
often.
GO CATS
February 28th, 2007 at 8:35 pm
I swear the ball got knocked out of stevenson’s hands….by the way, do you think we could’ve used stevenson more for this high low action that seems to be instant offense????? could’ve came in handy the past few weeks.
February 28th, 2007 at 8:36 pm
This is pathetic.
Eat Sausage
February 28th, 2007 at 8:40 pm
105, hopefully PS has his act together and makes more of a
contribution these last 11 games.
February 28th, 2007 at 8:43 pm
Meeks, to me looks like Tony Delk when he shoots the 3. Same form.
February 28th, 2007 at 8:44 pm
Hey Han, you want to explain to me how good we are and what a coaching masterpiece we are seeing here?
February 28th, 2007 at 8:45 pm
lol
February 28th, 2007 at 8:46 pm
Somebody on TCP asked why Tubby didn’t burst through the paper tonight along with the seniors.
February 28th, 2007 at 8:48 pm
#109 and everybody, can’t we just watch the game and post about the players
without making it into a Tubby debate or asking loaded questions about
Tubby. Just once, maybe if you can. Thanks. I just want to enjoy the game without
the constant conversations about Tubby. Go to TCP if that’s all you want to do.
And I’m not trying to be a dick.
GO CATS
February 28th, 2007 at 8:48 pm
This game is so boring I may swallow my tongue.
February 28th, 2007 at 8:49 pm
#112, I would if you and Han weren’t such flaming assholes. Cheers!
February 28th, 2007 at 8:49 pm
#113 great idea
February 28th, 2007 at 8:50 pm
Yawn watch what you say or you will get censored like I did earlier
February 28th, 2007 at 8:51 pm
I am glad we live in a nation where you can say what you want to say without fear of censorship!
February 28th, 2007 at 8:51 pm
Got me there Yawn!
February 28th, 2007 at 8:52 pm
look how good things instantly change with t/o machine bradley on the bench!
February 28th, 2007 at 8:52 pm
Did you get the genital cuff, Steven? Haha. I could really care less about being censored.
February 28th, 2007 at 8:52 pm
Did Someone fool Bobby and tell him March started today?
February 28th, 2007 at 8:53 pm
Why hasn’t Tubby played Porter more? Why didn’t he take calls on the hotline Monday night?
whhhhhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyy?????
February 28th, 2007 at 8:53 pm
#119, I hope Jai sees that!
February 28th, 2007 at 8:54 pm
Free throws the difference. Interesting that the radio guys just predicted a win. I think that is NOT good.
February 28th, 2007 at 8:55 pm
#123, I hope Jai brought a gameboy or something. WOO this is a stinker.
February 28th, 2007 at 8:56 pm
IT SHOULD BE
JASPER
MEEKS
CRAWFORD
STEVENSON
MORRIS
THE 5 JUST PLAY THE BEST TOGETHER
AND PORTER HAS TO SEE MORE PT… HE MAY MAKE SOME MISTAKES, BUT HE’S A TRUE PG.
February 28th, 2007 at 8:57 pm
Tubby should of pulled out the 2003 Sr. day game and let him watch that in the new practice facility
February 28th, 2007 at 8:57 pm
no more bradley please, something is going on with him that has him playing so awful
February 28th, 2007 at 8:58 pm
Anybody up for a bet on whether we win?
February 28th, 2007 at 9:01 pm
Georgia is tough
February 28th, 2007 at 9:01 pm
The CATS will win!
February 28th, 2007 at 9:02 pm
Agree, we will win
February 28th, 2007 at 9:02 pm
#130, Yeah, and they’re without Stukes and the other guy, what is his name, Mercer?
February 28th, 2007 at 9:03 pm
Thers seems to be something about the way the Freshmen have played tonight….Oh yea they PASS THE DAMN BALL.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:05 pm
I am officially sick of Ramel Bradley ball. Let Porter play.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:05 pm
Make sure y’all don’t forget to point out Stukes’ absence after we win.

#125, If I were a top notch point gaurd, I would have a hard on to play for this team.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:08 pm
114) Everyone who’s been banned or ordered to stop posting inflamatory comments raise your hand!
And if you find the game so boring (a game we’re winning), shut up and quit watching.
122) Probably the constant bad passes, turnovers, and lost men on defense.
126) Porter looks bad in most of his minutes except for high energy. Bradley is still a lot more useful than Crawford right now.
Cats looking pretty mediocre so far with the exception of Perry, Morris and Meeks. Need the others to quit turning it over and make solid contributions.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:09 pm
Don’t think we can possibly lose this game now. Now we are playing like we should against this Georgia team.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:10 pm
#139, if you have ever been a flamer that likes to name himself after star wars characters, raise your hand.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:11 pm
Here comes Crawford. Georgia should climb back into it now.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:12 pm
SOMEONE HELP!!! I HAVE A SATTELITE AND CANT WATCH THE GAME. DOES ANYONE KNOW A LINK SO I CAN WATCH IT IT ON THE COMPUTER?
February 28th, 2007 at 9:12 pm
Notice how the Cats are finally feeding the hot hands in the game with Perry and Morris. Good to see.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:13 pm
Yahoo.com carries the game 143. Just look under sports for “broadcasts”
February 28th, 2007 at 9:14 pm
Good to see BP having a good night on senior night.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:14 pm
143) Check Yahoo.
141) Hey genius, it’s one of my real names, and has been for 25 years. After my father, who was born in 1949. Well before Star Wars. Try your schoolyard insults elsewhere please.
Also, please look up flamer and troll. Both words apply much more to you than me, particularly lately.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:14 pm
THANKS 145!!!
February 28th, 2007 at 9:15 pm
Han, you are a very insecure person. Why don’t you chill? It will make your life much more enjoyable.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:15 pm
Play of the game! Been waiting this whole game. they finally gave him the ball. He was calling for it forever..STUFF BY WOO.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:16 pm
USC and Vandy tied with 19 sec…hope that one goes our way.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:17 pm
149) Yeah, silly me for being offended when I get insulted…
Funny how the people doing the insulting always tell someone to chill out.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:17 pm
Whoever it was that said Meeks looks like Delk…yup, I concur.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:18 pm
Way to go CATS, bury the Dawgs!!!
February 28th, 2007 at 9:18 pm
Finally some team ball
February 28th, 2007 at 9:18 pm
May we be looking at a career high on senior night?
February 28th, 2007 at 9:19 pm
Well, have you ever considered that you ARE a flamer, Han? If you tend to have people insulting you then you might be a moron.
BTW, great play by the cats right now, particularly BP. Good to see BP playing well on senior night.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:20 pm
Is it too early to say that this game is over?
February 28th, 2007 at 9:22 pm
157)
From Urban Dictionary, and my understanding of “Flamer”:
“person who deliberately makes inflammitory or slanderous posts on internet message boards for the purpose of starting a flame war.”
As compared to someone like me who disagrees with slanderous posts about our coach and players, and who argues against the constant posts pessimistically predicting disaster for the home team of this site. My purpose, by the way, is to convince people to quit bashing my beloved Cats. I’d prefer if you just agreed with me, as compared to exchanging insults.
Please stop insulting me and just try to enjoy the game.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:22 pm
Cat’s by 13….
February 28th, 2007 at 9:22 pm
gaines throwing up the same shit he did in the first game.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:23 pm
157) And if people are tending to insult someone…how does that make them a moron? Seems to me it says more about the people doing the insulting.
Meeks and Perry are on fire right now. Please keep feeding them and Morris the ball, Cats! And Tubby, don’t pull them unless we’re up by 40 with 3 minutes to go.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:24 pm
Han, buddy, I just don’t know what to tell you. You immediately jump on anybody that isn’t vehemently pro-Tubby. Of course you are going to get blasted by people. That is just par for the course.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:24 pm
BTW, that is a pretty sweet family name.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:24 pm
Morris riding the boards
February 28th, 2007 at 9:26 pm

February 28th, 2007 at 9:33 pm
163) Last thing I’m going to say on this, because I’d rather talk about the game.
I don’t attack anyone who is anti-Tubby. I attack anyone who is anti-Tubby without a bit of class in their comments. I attack people who bash the current players rudely and who predict losses gleefully.
I myself would like to see more from Tubby and the players, but I don’t express it in a rude and mean manner. I express it in hopes for difference/improvement.
My refrain on Tubby is: if you have a problem, state it calmly, and hopefully you’ll wait to render final judgement on this season til after the season is over. Also, I believe that Tubby is 90% likely to return at least next year, and we should support him and his chances of getting recruits like PP and JL.
I do not blast individuals. I blast anti-UK comments. I do not use the illogical “attack the person instead of the argument” approach, with the exception of when people are simply bashing the team more than its play. Personal insults are not part of my debate style (beyond the frustrated “Shut up” and sometimes “ass hole” when someone is being particularly crude to me or others (including players/Tubby)
I challenge people’s loyalty to the team when they are constantly posting anti-UK things (such as certain people always do the last few weeks). I do not think those people should call themselves UK fans, as it makes the rest of us look bad. These are the people Matt threatens to ban or warns constantly. The only warning I have gotten for Matt is for posting too much.
And the name Han comes from Hanson, a family name, though not the last name. Yes, it is cool.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:35 pm
Porter may develop into a Ravi Moss type player, but this season, he’s playing more like a freshman than the rest.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:36 pm
Bobby P. ya came to play.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:36 pm
You’re a prick, Han.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:39 pm
173) Just so you know…that’s one of those illogical debate techniques. Logical fallacy or some such.
I hope Porter comes out soon. We’re still not a consistent enough team to give him minutes to learn with this close a lead.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:39 pm
Cat’s playing D so far. Now we entering choke or no choke time.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:40 pm
Lots of open shots from GA. We aren’t playing D, we are just shooting 60%. Teams tend to win when they shoot that well.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:43 pm
Cats played much better D earlier. Should be a bit better now with Porter back out. He just leaves his man too much.
Need to guard the perimeter more.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:43 pm
GA turning up the heat.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:45 pm
Block by who else.. Score by who else SENIORS
February 28th, 2007 at 9:45 pm
Man, whoever Morris talked to about cutting down his fouls over the summer…introduce that man to Jasper.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:47 pm
I’m with ya #180, he’s slap happy.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:47 pm
This is looking very promising heading into Florida, especially given their recent vulnerability
February 28th, 2007 at 9:49 pm
Great block to cut the baseline by WOO
February 28th, 2007 at 9:49 pm
Han, when you make ppl look stupid that is when they usually pull out the
middle school remarks. You seem intelligent and that is always the defining
characteristic when having an actual debate…keep up the PRO UK posts, I’m with ya.
UK sports all around pretty much kick ass.
GO CATS!
February 28th, 2007 at 9:49 pm

February 28th, 2007 at 9:52 pm
ditto on Porter to the bench
February 28th, 2007 at 9:52 pm
184) It’s very easy to put down the arguments some people make around here because they rely too much on the “Ad Hominem” method (insulting the poster instead of the argument). Makes them seem childish.
I do apparently have a knack for bringing that out in people, though. Really is unfortunate.
I’ll keep up the por/optimistic posts, yes. Up until the season ends (if premature), in which case I’ll go cry into my pillow and then go play frisbee golf.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:53 pm

February 28th, 2007 at 9:55 pm
why are morris and crawford not playing?
February 28th, 2007 at 9:55 pm
Time for Bradley to climb to double digits at the line…
February 28th, 2007 at 9:56 pm
so Mr Bradley, Can ya shoot the FREE Throws. WOO to the Bench
February 28th, 2007 at 9:56 pm
193) Meeks or Perry is more important than Crawford. Don’t know about Morris.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:57 pm
Missed something NO free throws?
February 28th, 2007 at 9:57 pm
Bradley needs to find his early season FT form. He was leading the SEC and good for 10 points at the line at the end of games. We need that again. Right now, Meeks, and maybe Perry if he stays hot, are our only options for FT points.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:57 pm
197) Was only the 5th or 6th team foul when I made my comment.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:58 pm
Seeing this pending win, I can’t help but notice the absense of the people who so often comment at this time of the game. Usually, they’re here talking about how bad the team is. I can only hope they’re glued to their screens cheering.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:59 pm
W
February 28th, 2007 at 9:59 pm
COURY FLOURY time. Haven’t seen that at the appropriate time in quite a while. Good to see.
February 28th, 2007 at 9:59 pm
I’m guessing Tubby wanted WOO out there so that he could get the one last standing O, considering
he put Harris in for him. Here come the Sheray’s standing O
February 28th, 2007 at 10:00 pm
MVP’s BP & WOO
February 28th, 2007 at 10:00 pm
Block by Harris?
MVP Perry - Woo wasn’t as good as the last game. Still, a good senior night for him. Thomas had a pretty normal night, too, which is ok.
February 28th, 2007 at 10:00 pm
I guess he decided to get crawford out of the rotation.
February 28th, 2007 at 10:01 pm
love Porter. He defends, boxes out, and screens. He needs to work on ball handling.
He’s going to be a good player eventually
February 28th, 2007 at 10:01 pm
Cat’s by 12..FINAL…
February 28th, 2007 at 10:02 pm
Let’s go Maryland. Make this night really good.
February 28th, 2007 at 10:03 pm
207, I agree. I think Porter has the heart and desire to be a good player. With a couple summers
spent working on his ball skills and getting stronger, he will be a good backup to Jai next year.
February 28th, 2007 at 10:03 pm
Well, a UK win next week and a loss by Vandy…does Vandy still get the #2?
Even if so, I still desperately want the Florida win. We need to keep the momentum going this time.
We’ve let Florida get the wrong kind of streak on us. Time to start the right kind. And if we get a shot to put Vandy in their place in the SEC tourney…well, right now, after a W, the sky’s the limit.
February 28th, 2007 at 10:03 pm
Tubby stayed loyal to the seniors, and they came through. #207, I agree.
February 28th, 2007 at 10:04 pm
good game by Bradley as well with 18 pts. 6 reb. 5 ast.
February 28th, 2007 at 10:06 pm
I personally think a couple of Seniors showed the juniors how to win..
February 28th, 2007 at 10:07 pm
207) Porter has more desire/energy than Jasper shows, and potentially better team consciousness than Bradley…he just needs to work on the passing and staying with his man on D. Too many turnovers without the upside scoring of Bradley. Hopefully a good backup/#2 behind Jai and Jodie in the future. Jasper should be at the 3, if he learns to shoot. He’s certainly capable of slashing.
Porter’s main problem with losing his man comes when he helps off his man or sets a screen. It’s usually his man who then scores or gets an assist. I really hope he gets better at that. The offense turns stagnant and turns the ball over too much when he runs it right now. His D is intense, though. Football mentality.
209) Is the Maryland game on national tv?
February 28th, 2007 at 10:09 pm
Maryland is on ESPN (aka The Duke Network)
February 28th, 2007 at 10:09 pm
The better game to watch is Texas A&M and Texas on ESPN2
February 28th, 2007 at 10:10 pm
213) Only minor complaint I have with Bradley is as many say, at times he was too focused on doing things himself, and in this game, he finally had some consistent help. Can’t really fault him for wanting it “too much”. Crawford, on the other hand, is also too focused on getting himself going. The rest of the team needs to do that for him.
214) Which is exactly what Tubby wanted last year when guys like Stockton and Perry and Woo started for Rondo, Crawford and Morris. Finally working? Here’s hoping.
February 28th, 2007 at 10:11 pm
217) Better game? You need to enroll in UK 101
Priorities:
1) UK
2) Rooting against direct competitors for SEC standing (usually)
3) Rooting against Duke (unless want NCAA matchup, and even then, torn)
4) Watching a good matchup
February 28th, 2007 at 10:11 pm
MD not really on national TV, but the team they’re playing (dook) is.
February 28th, 2007 at 10:12 pm
I think ots played Porter and Jasper a lot tonight to show Jai that we need a point guard.
February 28th, 2007 at 10:13 pm
Damn, must have skipped that day my freshmen year of UK 101. I just can’t
stand listening to Duke Vitale. I’d rather watch Durant vs Acie Law
February 28th, 2007 at 10:22 pm
Woo is a classic. His post-game comments were real nice. As good as - “I thought it was enough loud to damage the building” - or something like that. His best game vs UL 2005 with the 9 reb. and great D.
February 28th, 2007 at 10:28 pm
The three seniors are solid young men who will be solid contributors to our society. In the end, I really think that is more important then how many points they scored in their career. Maybe it’s just me! I tip my hat to all three for keeping their heads up and always battling through the storms of UK fans and their not so cheery and winning attitudes.
February 28th, 2007 at 10:32 pm
These Seniors are NOT done. FL, SEC tourney, and the Dance
February 28th, 2007 at 10:42 pm
And with focus and a bit of luck, we’ll see those seniors celebrate in Rupp again.
February 28th, 2007 at 10:49 pm
222) Usually I don’t mind V (he praises UK almost as much as his ACC teams), but tonight, with Maryland outplaying Duke and V still acting like Duke are the best players in the world…it is getting on my nerves.
February 28th, 2007 at 10:58 pm

Han doesn’t make enough posts, does he? Can we make his font size larger than everyone elses so he can be a little more conspicuous in his arrogant blather, Matt? He apparently is Tom Gray’s heir apparent for board arse clown.
March 1st, 2007 at 6:59 am
And this comes from Crow…now that is Hypocrisy.
March 1st, 2007 at 12:57 pm
I really do love that the only people who criticize me are the UK-bashing trolls.
Notice how many fewer posts guys like Yawn and Crow have when UK wins.
