Sounds great. Oh, to see my UL co-workers tomorrow who all said we’d never beable to hire another coach after firing Gillispie. Oh yeah, I since I’m off on MON-TUE they thought they were going to the final four too. Cant wait till tomorrow.

tyson does hit a good point though. i hope the excitement of this hire doesnt spike the already unrealistic (at times) expectations even higher, to where people are gonna be pissed if we dont go to the final four next year. i really believe we are about 3 years away from being a true powerhouse again, but i hope like hell its alot sooner

I visit this site everyday and love it, but how the hell does a site that is supposed to be so big crash for two days. I know people want to say, there were so many people trying to get on that it crashed but geez guys, be prepared…Update your server….If you want to be the best for the love of God, get a site that can be visited…………………….That being said, damn fellas we got a lot to celebrate about…Ntl title talks with the potential recruits coming in!!!Greg Doyels article gave me chills!!!!!

Xavier Henry isn’t coming. I sort of expect wall to come. Cousins perhaps, Dennis perhaps. I’ve also heard a little about Eric Bledsoe (#67 on rivals…is #67 to low in the ranking anymore…). What about Hood, we’ve been waiting a long time for the home grown boy that can bomb the threes.

I’m about to move back to Kentucky for the sole reason of Kentucky basketball. I can’ take being away any longer. For what it’s worth, I do come across the occassional Cat fan in Colorado now and then.

Jerry Meyer of rivals said the other day that Eric Bledsoe is flirting with 5 star status, that’s how good he is. I’m about 100% that Nolan Dennis will follow Cal…he’s one of those 3 or 4 year college all-american type guards.

Well, we all got what we wanted thank you Mr. Barnhart you gave the fans what we wanted. The first thing I liked was the fact he called Coach Hall to see what he thought about the job. Rick we all loved you but you broke our hearts when you left for Boston, and then Louisville of all places to show back up at. I forgive but that sure did hurt for a while. Coach Cal, keep it clean, bring us a championship maybe 2 and your name too will hang from the rafters of Rupp just don’t ever think of going to Louisville please.

Our high school coach and his assistant told me he had been glued to the news all day. They are excited.
Just like Pitino caused lots of high schools to press and shoot the three,
this will have a tremendous effect on our high school basketball style and standards.Maybe
Kentucky will start producing more McDonald’s All-Americans because they know that
you will not make the uk team with subpar ability and talent.

What a great day in Kentucky Basketball. I was beginning to sweat this thing, but man the possibilites are just endless. #68-There was apparently lots of discussion relative to this in the negotiations. I hope it works out for everyone, but the bottom line is that some players will not be back next year, and I would think that at least a couple of future schollys will probably be pulled as well. Elite talent is now the order of the day, not mediocraty.
