Looks like Cal’s doing a little multi-tasking while he’s in Pittsburgh for the NIT first round. Cal invited 2014 SF Ryan Skovranko and some of his teammates to watch the team practice at Robert Morris this evening. Skovranko tweeted the above picture and posted the one below on Instagram with the hashtags #UK and #BBN.

SkovPractice

Last month, Cal went to watch Skovranko play in Western Pennsylvania. The 6-8, 200 lbs. wing player has received interest from Wisconsin, West Virginia, Pitt, Miami (FL), Virginia Tech and Iowa, among others, and has said in the past that Kentucky is his favorite school.

At least Cal gets something out of this trip. Says here the kid is not allowed to speak with Polytress, Goodwin or Harrow. Conventional wisdom says he may want to defect to a foreign country after listening to their attitudes.

Hold your hand up high if you think Ca really wants to be in Pa right now? Smart money says he cannot wait to see the seconds tick off the clock tomorrow night and end this nightmare!!!!!

Did anyone else wonder why in the world Cal didn’t play Polson more in the Vandy game? I completely understand that Harrow is more athletic and is a better over all player. However, when Harrow was 1 for 9 the first half with 4 turnovers that’s a pretty good indication that he’s having another off night. It also seemed like when Polson was in the game, the offense ran better. Polson didn’t score but seemed to elevate the team to play better. Am I the only one that noticed that? It just seemed like Cal didn’t make the adjustment…..like when the team shoots 1 for 33 from beyond the arc against UCONN in the Elite Eight and yet we continue to jack up 3′s instead of getting it inside to Cousins.

  6. Yeah Says:

4 he couldn’t keep up with his man on D and you could see cal yelling at him…….but I saw Mayes get beat by his man and harrow and wiljter and Archie and Alex. But I guess he holds different players to different standards! If Mayes or Harrow have off nights they are worthless to this team especially Mayes even though he gives a little floor leadership……

  7. Sarcasm Says:

Looks like everyone is thrilled to be there. I know I’m excited!
