The ladies don’t always get the headlines, but they may be the only team playing in the big dance this March. UK Hoops didn’t win the SEC Tournament, but it is pretty well locked into a favorable 2-seed playing its first and second rounds games in Iowa City.
Take a look at their corner of the projected bracket.
The SEC is projected by ESPN bracketologist Charlie Creme to receive seven bids. Just one shy of the Big East’s eight.
Selection Monday will decide the UK Hoops team’s fate, but things are looking good for the 27-5 team that plays in a league with very little parity at the top.

” a league with very little parity at the top.” What does that mean, exactly? I’d say the league has little parity top to bottom, but the top SEC women’s teams are all very good. You might go so far as to say there is a great deal of parity among the top 5 teams.

I’m not sure which is crazier. This being posted here or the fact that someone is spending time projecting a women’s bracket.

Bad weekend to have the duty for you, Stuart.

IU only scored 8 more points today than UK scored last night. They have peaked and are on the downhill slide. Go Badgers.

Not real fired up about possibly having to play 10th seeded Iowa in Iowa City in the 2nd Round…

I’d rather have to face Uconn than Baylor as a #1 seed.
Makayla Epps and Kyvinn Goodin-Rogers are lighting in up in the ladies high school tournament. They play in the finals tonight at 9. We are really going to miss A’dia but our three recruits are absolutely outstanding. Makayla has her dad’s heart and will to win. The 96 team would not have been as successful as they were without him at the helm. It would not surprise me one bit if our ladies hang a banner(s) during her tenure at UK.
