Thursday night Hoosiers everywhere mourned Bob Knight’s finale as a broadcaster for ESPN. The Big Blue Nation had to suffer through a terrible lost, only to accumulate further with Bruce Pearl denouncing the Cats every chance he could. Coach Knight was actually quite respectful of the Cats, even giving Frank Ramsey a shout-out during the game. While most of #BBN is glad he is gone, I am highly distraught. Adding senility to a crazy white-haired Hoosier is great for television. The only thing I can imagine better than Knight calling basketball games, is giving him his own golf show. I may have spoke to soon; Knight actually had a golf show in the late-80s. Now I don’t know if the show was worth watching, but these outtakes are GOLD. Watching him slam his wedge into sand repeatedly gives me pure joy.

@1 Cal agreed to play the “we haven’t won a Championship in 26 years” Hoosiers on a neutral court and Crean turned it down.

I was really surprised at how respectful Knight was when he called our two games this season. We played like crap both games and lost badly and he could have easily piled on and pointed out how crappy we were. But he didn’t. I found his analysis very interesting and it showed his obvious understanding of the game. I can honestly say I don’t hate him anymore and I’m sad to see him go.

Seems like, after all of the success, KSR would be able to find writers with basic knowledge of the English language. I’m not normally one to comment about these type of things, but this post was very hard to read.

With all the work Matt, Drew, TT, and Beisner put into this site for you to post something like this containing this many errors in grammar and spelling is pathetic. If you can’t do better than this then type your blog in Word first and spell/grammar check it before you send it on. I thought the prerequisite for writing on this site was that you had to be in college? I hope you put better effort into this on your midterms or you’re going to spend a lot more time there.

Look, guys, let me clarify what I mean by “little brother.” I’m actually complimenting you. I’m saying you’re the good looking, athletic, hip, younger brother that gets all of the chicks, makes a lot of money, etc. We’re like the decrepit older brother who celebrates every day that he wakes up without a pantsload of sh!t and watches re-runs of Designing Women all day, whose only accomplishment in life is saying, “This one time I beat my little brother at pick-up basketball… Nevermind that he was only four years old.” But every now and then, when I OD on Viagra, you’d better watch the F out.

READ YOUR WORK BEFORE YOU POST IT! I will bet you any amount of money it would have made as little sense to you as it did for us the readers. Very poor work. Spell check only works if there are no other words that match. In your case….instead of loss you went with lost. Just proof read your work! Only to accumulate further….were you predicting snow or what.

I couldn’t agree more with some of the previous posts. This site has gone from informative and original to absolute garbage. I’ve got no problem with Matt, Drew, and others with actual journalistic talent using this platform to lead to bigger things, but don’t just hand the keys over to a bunch of hacks who can’t even spell, let alone use grammar properly. Shut it down boys. Take this thing out back and put it out of it’s misery.

#28 this is a free site that i visit daily, if you dont like it then leave. No one forces you to come and read this stuff. Who really gives two sh1ts about grammar and what they post as long as you can identify the main point of the article. This site always has up to date info on UK athletics and is very helpful. I for one am grateful so keep up the good work guys and gals.

Just because it’s free for us doesn’t mean it is free for everyone. Why do you think these sponsors pay to be on the banners? You think they would appreciate people putting up shoddy work when they’re using their businesses money to pay for it? If it’s so OK, then why don’t you donate your money to them and see how quickly you care about the quality of work. 98% of the things on this site are fantastic, I love them. KSR is the best place to go to get UK news and stats and bachelor diaries. Don’t you think they want to fix the other 2%? It takes the people to show them how to make their product better.

I am a huge UK Fan and college basketball fan. It has always been great to hate Bobby Knight at Indiana but i respect the old school coaching in him. I wish him the best and these clips are funny.
