According to a UK spokesman, Jon Hood, Jarrod Polson and Marquis Estill are all on track to graduate in May. With that said, only Julius Mays and Twany Beckham will be honored during the “Senior Day” festivities tomorrow.

Marquis Estill?
March 8th, 2013 at 5:04 pm
Hood and Polson are coming back, right?
March 8th, 2013 at 5:06 pm
It would be cool if they did something for returning players who come back and get their degree. What would it hurt to let Estill stand out with the other graduating seniors?

Id be willing to bet Hood is “on the fence” about transferring so he can play his last season. He’s sit the bench 90% of his time here, and likely wont want to do that again next year
March 8th, 2013 at 5:12 pm
Unless he enjoys riding the bench and/or wants another ring next season, he would be better off pulling a “Julius Mays” and finding more playing time at another school with a Grad Program UK doesn’t offer.

This just in. Wilter tansfers to Gonzaga next season. He won’t see any playing time with the recruiting class Calipari has coming in. It also doesn’t matter if Poythress or Goodwin are drafted. They are both also gone next year. The “word on the street” is Goodwin will prbably get drafted, but will end up playing in Europe. Calipari doesn’t wnt Poythress playing for Kentucky after this season. So, he is gone no matter what.

6–any sources to back that up or just a stab in the dark?
March 8th, 2013 at 5:27 pm
If Wiltjer transfers he is a coward. He will be a Junior on another team of inexperienced high school kids. He will have a chance to make a huge impact on next year’s team as a leader. He will see playing time unlike Polson and Hood. Next year is the perfect situation for him. He wasn’t ready to lead this year and this group couldn’t handle it.

6- link?

The local nashville sports station, 104.5, made the comment today that UK “played like crap” last night. Doesn’t that make you all feel proud that we have to put up with this train wreck week after week? It would be nice if a lot of you people attending the game tomorrow would boo both Harrow and Poythress during introductions. I know you won’t because that is not what the home fans do, but I would love to hear it. WCS made the comment last night that maybe they all needed to pray for each other. I pray that both Harrow and Poythress are playing their last home game tomorrow.

10-I’m curious what purpose this would serve, just like I’m curious what purpose the mean-spirited bashing of players on this site, serves. Maybe it lets the frustrated fan get a little of that frustration off his chest. But do you think it makes it more likely that the players will play well? Do you think it makes it more likely that the players we’re recruiting will want to come here? Do you think it makes it more likely that their parents will want them to come here?

10. Getting sick of guys like you on this board. REALITY CHECK: Harrow was NEVER considered an elite PG, NEVER. He will be the absolute best sixth/seventh man in the country next year, backing up and teaching the Twins. Poythress turned out to be more like Terrance Jones first half of the season, instead of Terrance JOnes second half of the season. The same people, probably you, said the same thing after Jones stunk up the IU game and the followed it up with several bad games with his injured hand, but at the end of the year you were probably one of those that was on Jones jock for being on of the best PFs in the country. Poythress need to come back, its just that simple, work on their game, and find themselves. Not everyone is one and done, sorry.

6) The Wiltjer to Gonzaga rumors have been out there for a couple of months. He will more than likely bolt.

I was on one of the UK premium boards. A guy posted on there claiming to be related to Hood. He said Hood will transfer after the season and it is mutual between Hood and Cal. Cal should let him do the senior deal tomorrow. Not sure why he isn’t.

Mike is just a lousy fan. Go do something good with your miserable life. Also, you may want to get a prescription for that bipolar disorder of yours.
March 8th, 2013 at 6:23 pm
Man, some of my fellow UK fans are f**king crazy. At times the ignorant comments are humorous but it’s this ish that makes us anything but a “players first program” from a FAN BASE standpoint. I can’t stand these loons who degrade current UK players. If a player is arrested or something and you want to jump to conclusions, go a head and talk bad about them. That’s not what i’m referring to. I’m talking about the people who want to talk sh*t about the same players they wait in line to get autographs from. From Noel to Brian Long–they all wear blue. That is all.

In an age where very few players attend college for four years, “Senior Day” needs to be changed to “Graduates Day” to honor students who complete their studies regardless of the number of years it took them.
March 8th, 2013 at 6:45 pm
I do hope that EVERYONE understands Mike is NOT a UK fan…he is a miserable troll…possibly oldschool (oldfool) using a different name to post comments.

I heard that Hood isn’t coming back next year as well. Didn’t know that about Wiltjer. Are we going to have anyone on the bench next year??? Looks like we have 5 more scholarships to offer. What’s wrong with these kids??? Why would you not one to play for the best program that has the best coach where they are treated like kings??
March 8th, 2013 at 8:40 pm
I’m sorry, but the last place I would ever look for inside info on where a player is going next year would be on the comment section. Give me a link to it being a official and I will believe you then.
March 8th, 2013 at 10:50 pm
there is absolutely zero percent chance wiltjer leaves. Hood as well. Im not sure about polson but I highly doubt he leaves as well. Hood and Polson are both from kentucky. Why would they leave the school that they wanted to play for their whole lives?
March 9th, 2013 at 2:03 am
Everybody who ‘knows things’ say that Jon Hood will play his final year of eligibility at West Virginia, and enroll in the Taxidermy graduate program. Kyle and Willie plan to a film an intimate documentary on Erin Calipari over the summer, but after Coach Cal heard about it, he wants them off the team. So wow, they’re all gone. Trust me, I know. The papers will spin it differently, of course.
March 9th, 2013 at 5:00 am
quite frankly because Cal does not use a bench or have any concept of how to develop one except out of necessity (Jorts) why in the world would anyone stay? I do not even mean this as a negative. I simply do not think Cal can coach more than 7 guys. Pitino on the other hand wants to play 12 guys or more. He would not feel comfortable with 6 serviceable players and Cal cannot conceive of more than 7.
