This year we’ve been lucky to have been graced with some amazing stories from High School playoff games; this is not one of them. In Oklahoma’s 3A Playoffs, Hugo High School clung to a 37-36 lead over Millwood High School with 3.7 seconds left. With the ball on the sideline, all Hugo guard Trey Johnson had to do was run out the clock; instead he made a wide open layup in Millwood’s basket, losing the game for his team. You have to feel bad for the kid, but I doubt there has ever been a more perfect nominee for SportsCenter’s Not Top 10.

I have no problem making fun of the play. I don’t appreciate the racism that underlies #1′s comment. It was completely unnecessary. If you think the racist elements of any person are fare game, you should take it to another blog.

Re: #1. KSR is afraid to mess with the successful formula of letting anyone post anonymously. Possessing an email address is meaningless and there isn’t any checking if it’s a legit address. I get it, it’s a business decision. But I think it’s time to move towards requiring registration.
