Orton and Liggins Back in the D-League

by @ 10:10 am. Filed under Blue Blooded Opinions

According to Adam Zagoria, the Oklahoma City Thunder have bumped DeAndre Liggins and Daniel Orton back down to the D-League’s Tulsa 66ers. Those two have been swung back and forth more than a four year-old discovering a playground for the first time. Regardless, good luck to them as they try and play their way back up to the Thunder.

Want some more uplifting news? Ryan Lemond tweeted out a picture this morning of Nerlens Noel (what on earth will his rap name be? DJ Flat Top?) who ventured to KBA last night just to socialize with fans. Check it out, enjoy the warm fuzzies.

There are some teams where it’s not that bad to be in their development system. The Thunder is a fantastic organization with Presti at the helm, and if they are bothering to invest time in Liggins and Orton, that likely means they are going to be fine in the league. Jorts on the other hand — sucks for him.

  2. MrPasley Says:

That is so awesome of Nerlens, I hope good things keep coming his way for how well he treats others.

  3. Mc Says:

True #1. Plus they are both making over $750,000 this season so a few more of these contracts and I think they’ll be just fine.

  4. Amirite Guiz!?! Says:

DAE think Kristen Geil is hot?

  5. H.A. Milton Says:

Its so dirty to see Liggins and Ortons names mentioned together. Why would a rapper have a name that started with ‘DJ’?

  6. HipHopIsDead Says:

DJ Jazzy Jeff <–Not a Rapper
    DJ Quick <–Is a Rapper
    DJ Qualls <–Is a Actor

Love Nerlens. He’s the only player I really wish would come back, although I am not sure it’s in his best interest. Kids adore him and he does so much for the community. We need him more than he needs us!
