I know it sucks, but an Alabama win would be terrible for Kentucky; not just for NCAA tourney purposes, but for SEC ranking. If you’ve got rally caps, go ahead and throw some on for the Gators. Just don’t tell them we did it, it’ll go right to their big fat heads.

5, 6 – Idk, if Bama would’ve won, then won out they would have #1 seed in SEC locked down since they beat us. At least since FL won and if we can win out we have a better shot at #1 seed. Maybe??

Florida won, but Bama winning would only have been bad for us if we didn’t win out. Yeah, I know, it was unlikely, but you all were already assuming we couldn’t do it.

I was cheering for Syracuse, however, I feel like if I cheer against UL its bad Karma for the Cats. I have to say whenever some of the sports people from here in Louisville that I follow on Twitter, say things about UL, and follow it up with that stupid l1c4 crap, they lose all credibility in my eyes.That has to be the dumbest moto ever!!!!

Barring a miraculous SEC tourney run to the title, Tennessee is about to see the final nail in their coffin if they can’t play better against Georgia in the second half. Georgia’s up 11 with 3 minutes left in the first half.
15) I haven’t cheered for Cuse since Boeheim bashed us back when Tubby left. Also, Louisville winning is better for our SoS.
14) It’s like they’ve already forgotten what happened last year. It’s amazing how they ignore the past when it’s bad, but trot it out if they beat us.

It did suck rooting for Florida, that’s a first in a long time. When Alabama went on a run there, I was like yes & then realized I was cheering for the wrong side.
Like 16 says, Louisville winning helps our SoS.

15) Han, yes sir spot on (with everything really) –but my feelings exactly about never cheering for Boeheim after his lil fit when Tubby left. He also has a tendacy to do that soapbox thing every once in awhile I noticed. Anyway, Lets get ready to root on our Cats.

21) My wife said the other day something simular to what you said. Mentioning how she didn’t like the fact that we would most likely be the team / fans sitting in front of our TV hoping for our school to be called on selection Sunday. Not exactly your point –but if ya know what I mean.
