[Moderated by Matt Jones]

Yes that is a silly headline, but what is it supposed to say? The folks at Kentucky Ale and Kentucky Sports Radio are partnering up for a series of special events for UK fans and blog readers. Over the next few months, every Thursday, we will announce those events on here and introduce you to a new “Kentucky Ale” girl. These young women will attend events for Kentucky Ale across the state and will be representatives of the product and the website over the course of the next year. If you are interested in becoming one of the young ladies, please email us at KentuckyAlepromo@gmail.com.
In the meantime, watch here every Thursday as we give you a new set of events that will be forthcoming, introduce the young ladies and let you know where you can go out and win the Kentucky Ale prize, which unlike the KSR prizes, are real. Wish Kentucky Ale well as the newest Kentucky Sports Radio sponsor and get ready for meeting all the new Kentucky Sports Radio young ladies, including Woo.

Well, I just saw on Fox that Obama has ordered Guantanemo Bay and all other international prisons for terrorists and suspected terrorists to be closed immediately. All prisoners are ordered to be released and… get this… the former prisoners will be given the right to sue the US if they feel like they have been tortured or mistreated in any way. Any comments on this brilliant political move Matt? I’m sure you have a few.

I’m all for this program, but just don’t have the dancing grandpa from the games sliding down any poles to market this brewhaha.

Kentucky Ale and KSR - two things that I once considered to be my own little secrets now hitting off with each other. File this under “Things That Can Only Happen In Sports.”

“make sure you are supporting the only beers made in the Bluegrass”
Good beer but hardly the only one brewed in the bluegrass. BBC brewa are heads and tails above KY Ale.
January 22nd, 2009 at 1:28 pm
brews not brewa
January 22nd, 2009 at 1:32 pm
11.) I think you said it all with your source. That is nothing like what happened, he ordered it to be shut down w/in the year, and they have not yet decided what to do with the detainees.
January 22nd, 2009 at 1:36 pm
I’m waiting for the Kentucky Ale bikini contest…
January 22nd, 2009 at 1:36 pm
You know, KSR girl Elizabeth, it’s time for you to hoist a brew and snap a few shots…. KentuckyAlepromo@gmail.com.
January 22nd, 2009 at 1:40 pm
I stand corrected #19. Story updated states that the released prisoners will have the opportunity to sue. Not all detainees will necessarily be released. Still a step int he wrong direction if you ask me.

Great. Now we have Raw Meat Mondays, Calendar Tuesdays, and Booze Wednesdays. Let’s keep going, shall we? I propose Mr. Transmission Thursdays and Woodford Feed Co. Fridays.

January 22nd, 2009 at 2:03 pm
Wallace Station has the best ice cold tap KY Ale!! Goes great with a breakfast or lunch there!
January 22nd, 2009 at 2:04 pm
Ohh, and I know that girl in the picture! That’s my sister-in-laws best friend. Kinda funny to see her on here, but she’s a HUGE Wildcat fan!
January 22nd, 2009 at 3:01 pm
22) Yes, I can’t believe these “suspected” (key word) terrorists will actually be given the opportunity to a fair trial, and not be subjected to waterboarding or having car batteries hooked up to their testicles…of all the nerve!!
January 22nd, 2009 at 3:09 pm
Wow! Living in Colorado we have some of the finest micro-breweries anywhere. Now, in my home state of KY I can get premium beer? Brewed on site, fresh from the tap? HELL YEAH!!! Where can I get said brew when I visit Lexington in May? Bar recommendations? This is great news!!!!
January 22nd, 2009 at 5:23 pm
I am down with the KY Ale folks. They have hired our band to play they fall party for many years in row. Good people, fun shindig.
January 22nd, 2009 at 6:12 pm
Lots of places in Lex. have it. Pazzo’s is always good, good pizza, good beer, good bourbon, and good atmosphere.
January 22nd, 2009 at 8:10 pm
It’s about time…..
January 22nd, 2009 at 9:59 pm
KY Ale is muy delicioso. Danville boys have a certain flair for that which tickles the beer drinker’s palate. This is cultivated from an early age on Waterworks road. McCraith can brew it, Frey can sell it……..and drink the hell out of it.
January 22nd, 2009 at 10:02 pm
Now if we can just get it sold outside of the state, that would be money.
January 23rd, 2009 at 9:18 am
I had KY Ale for the 1st time last weekend… pretty good, but not quite the end all be all it’s being made out to be. I will definitely drink it again though. I also don’t know why you would say it’s the only beer brewed in the bluegrass. The fine folks at the BBC might have something to say about that.
