Calipari has tried everything to get his young team to buy in this season, and he might’ve finally found the answer last night. Coach Cal and the staff played dodgeball with the players in the Joe Craft Center last night to lighten the team’s mood and relax before tonight’s game.
Yes, dodgeball.
Coach Cal wore a helmet for the game, admitting he knows a lot of the guys would be gunning for him. But he also said he was looking forward to unloading on some of them, too.
Robic wore this, because, I don’t know why.
Jon Hood and Willie Cauley-Stein had the best cannons, according to Calipari. Willie said he has “a heater.”

This is awesome. They’re just kids, and I think it’s finally time they learn it’s okay to have fun on the court, too. They played with a lot more energy tonight. Hopefully it will continue.

Too bad we still don’t have Anthony Davis (for a LOT of reasons), they could have had him play the part of Fran Stalinovskovichdavidovitchsky, the Russian chick with the unibrow in the movie.
