Since we talked about it last weekend when Makers Mark made the decision to decrease the alcohol content in each bottle, it’s only appropriate that we update you on the situation (since way more of you cared about it than expected). Makers Mark has decided to REVERSE the decision to cut the alcohol content, electing to remain at 90 proof.
After a game like last night, this breaking news might ease some people’s pain.

Yeah Right. You guys who drink it go ahead and think what they want you to. It will still he the most overpriced 4 year bourbon in the industry. If i were in charge i would have just gone ahead and made the change without telling anyone which is what they will do now you suckers. Try Four Roses guys you wont be disappointed with your decision. Get the small batch or single barrel and you wont look anywhere else.

What #5 said. Try 1792 Ridgemont Reserve. It’s an 8year old Old Barton product. It’s slightly more than MM and 10X better.

Oldschool would probably be ok with going back to prohibition and making everyone go to Sunday School.

#5 Really??? Four Roses? If you had said Woodford or something then maybe someone would buy the crap you’re selling but FOUR ROSES? lol shut up.

four roses limited edition 2012 small batch was the number 1 whiskey last year… not just bourbons but any whiskey, ranked number 1. ranked higher than BT antique collection, pappy and the like. crushes woodford. good game though thanks for playing.

Companies usually pay for them list like that #14. Anyway you want to look at it, MM is the most popular in the world. I do think Woodford is pretty good never had Four Roses, being aware of it at least

Makers Mark is getting alot of free national advertising out of this, is that on purpose? If so, it worked great.
