Willie we are all pretty much die hard or we wouldn’t care so much. Problem is the fans care more than some players at this point. It would be a problem if this were an acceptable performance. Don’t spout off at the mouth!

I understand the loosing. I get it, we are all freshman and that is just the reality of the situation. Cal’s past three teams had much more experience, depth, and leadership than this team. That has been apparent all year. So I can justify some of our losses this year. However, when there is a very clear and visible lack of effort to the TV viewing audience, we got issues. The fact is several players on the team are looking ahead to the next step. Which is something we are used to with the past three teams. I want to believe they can turn it around this year. Still a lot of talent on the squad. But you can’t teach effort

Willie and team…I don’t think you understand. This isn’t some novelty. This isn’t a too bad, we just didn’t have it tonight. You play for the University of Kentucky. You are pampered because of this and it’s a shame you don’t take pride, or at least realize the reason you are nationally and locally criticized. with that being said, I realize that spotlight can be poisonous, only you and your teammates know that in the fullest, but you are playing for a state and a fanbase that bas been there, is there, and will be there long after your gone…you are playing for something bigger than yourself. we only ask that you play with the same pride that MOST of the fans hold this program to, win or lose.

Some of our moron fans need to get a life. You’re nothing but a bunch of spoiled bitches. WE JUST WON A NATIONAL TITLE. We didn’t have a lot coming back. The Top 25 preseason ranking was based on last years team, not this one. These are lumps you take when battling the one and done. It is what it is. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. Go root for Louisville if you’re THAT FREAKING MUCH OF A BANDWAGON FAN. If not, shut your mouth, stop talking trash to a bunch of 18 year old kids and get a job or a hobby. My God, if some of you took your own lives as serious as you take UK basketball, you might get out of the trailer or your moms basement.

WCS thinks we have “fake fans” but I guarantee there is nothing fake about our passion for the game. Even though you and the rest of your team mates stunk up the floor today, I bet 99% of the people on here watched every last miserable second on the game today. We don’t give up on the team but I do think the team gave up on us today.

He said (via tweet) something stupid. I was 18, 22 years ago, an I was engaged to a woman I hated, and thought America was the land of free speech (meaning I thought no consequences). Willie will learn, too. And we’ll be glad to have him next year.

25) You and our players are as soft as me. I’m not spoiled, I just expect that if you play for UK you at least try hard. Is that too much to ask? This team gave up 88 points to a team that couldn’t score 40 twice this year.That is not because all of a sudden Tennessee got better, its because our players were too soft to challenge shots and too dumb to know how to play help defense.

The guys that have been riding the bench have got to want to play more than the ones we have been starting. Time to stop the insanity and you all know the definition of that.

Willie, you and the rest keep this in mind when you come here (and i know some of you if not all, do read here) Anyone can post on here. Anyone. You don’t have to register here. And that includes tardinal and loosier fans who are CONSTANTLY posing on here as UK fans– continuously spewing out negative crap to make our players think the fanbase has abandoned them. Trust me, the true blue fans would never ever say some of the crap posted here. It happens everyday. As much as many of us regulars here have asked for it, KSR refuses to make it a registered site (or even a pay site) to eliminate all the negative crap, and get some type of moderation here to help control it. The main reason is click count. KSR gets paid by advertisers because of the tremendous click count generated daily, and if they got rid of all the trolls, the click count would decrease dramatically-and they are not about to let that happen. Rest assured that true blue fans are behind you.

The only real problems with this team is togetherness. There is none here as compared to last year. There will be very few teams that will ever compare to last year tho. The offensive flow for these guys is just pathetic. The Cats have no reliable scorers and this is one of the weakest scoring teams I have seen here. Then on top of that they fail time and again on defense. I really believe they are trying but the basketball skills they have were well overblown by the preseason hype. Very weak recruiting on this team and Cal needed better ball IQ than what is displayed. As for WCS he is just not a skilled big man and will not be for years. He may be very good in the future but has work to do for sure.

36, I didn’t lump everyone in together, the first word of my rant should have told you that. Man, there are a lot of All-Star basketball players that are also UK fans. All you end up doing is hurting recruiting and making SOME of yourselves look bad. This is a team that lost it’s heart and soul, and playing without that kind of presence for the first time EVER can be somewhat trying. Duke lost by 27 earlier in the year. Calm down and count the banners and be thankful. Support our guys or shut the hell up! I’d love to see where some of you were when you were 18. Cut the guys some slack.

Every program has idiotic fan or two and back in the day it wasn’t noticed. But with todays technology these few idiots have a platform to act like idiots, and our players have twitter handles that make them vulnerable to this kind of negativity. So our players either need to not have a twitter handle or whatever or they just got to realize for every idiot there is ten REAL fans! So just turn your head the other way when you get the negative. I don’t have heartburn if we lose if everyone trys and trys hard. These players get free rides, possible great futures in NBA, stardom in KY while here, etc. etc. but not to come out and work 110% everyday for this is immature and irresponsible, especially in a game against TN. This half hearted attempt at playing basketball has got to go. Do the players realize the value of what they are getting. I wish my kids could have this same opportunity and there are tons of kids that never get to go to college for lack of money. Make those not trying ride the pine and let the walk-ons play. We may lose but they will try harder.
