I like Polson and Hood, but we cant play them with Mays and Wiltjer at the same time. We just give up way too much on D and rebounding.

Didn’t get to see much of the game (thankfully).Looking at the box score, what stands out to me is Harrow’s line. A lot of zeroes. Really looking forward to spring. The haters will be out in full force this afternoon.

Also, on 630 you could hear Cal say something to the effect of “we’re not very good but we don’t deserve what you’ve done to us.” was he talking to the ref?

WCS – 23 minutes – two rebounds, two points.
That’s an amazing stat line for a 7-footer who has aspirations of playing in the NBA. Both Polson and Hood outrebounded that young man.
Hood could of/should of been more a contributor – but today was his first significant amount of playing time in two years. He has not been developed.
This is the shortest bench I can remember at UK other than the 89 probation-era squad. With Noel out – UK now has only seven scholarship players (not counting Polson who will probably be asked to revert back to walk-on status next year.) When UK is so short and gets into foul trouble – we honestly are in the bottom tier of the SEC.
One and done is also Feast or Famine. We’ve tasted the feast – now we must endure the famine.
As for next year….who knows? They’ll all be 18-year-olds – just like this group.

Stupid. I like Polson and Hood too. But people if they play we will lose games by an average of 30. Who cares is Polson is better than Harrow. We are gonna lose by a truck load. Hood and Polson would not start at Campbellsville College! Let’s get this season over!

11. Polson is NOT better than Harrow. Harrow is playing bad but we will not make the tourney without him. Even if Polson plays his best every night we will lose a lot. Plus there are 2 sides of the ball and Golden had 24 points and 8 assists mainly beating Polson off the dribble.

Back-to-back phenomenal games from Ryan Harrow. He doesn’t need to see anymore clock unless he can defend, run the offense, get assists, play with aggression. Thoughts?

zero fast break points…I believe I would insist on running the fast break since we half no half court offense…Hood leads team with 3 offensive rebounds…willie, archie, and ryanie combined have 3 baskets in 75 minutes…Hood has 2 baskets

Polson, Hood, Wiltjer, and Mayes all play for the name on the front of the jersey.
Others seem to play for the name on the back.
I agree. Polson is a better PG.
I had hopes for Poythress as I think he’s a good kid who’s having trouble understanding the College game…..but today set him back a lot.

My goodness. I am 66. I can at least do was well as harrow. 5 fouls and one turnover. that was and should be embarassing for cauley-stein, goodwin and poythress. and harrow.

If Cal told Archie “I can’t coach you”….then why keep him in for 34 minutes?!?!? Just clear the bench and let Malone and Long have a shot for a few minutes…it couldn’t have been any worse than what was already happening, at least those guys would have appreciated their playing time and shown some heart. Today’s game was just pitiful
