Kentucky football hasn’t closed the book on the 2013 recruiting class as the staff anxiously awaits a decision from Tevin Lawson. Lawson is visiting TCU today and tomorrow and then he’ll either make his way over to the Louisiana Tech campus on Friday or stick around the Lonestar State for a visit with the Longhorns in Austin.
Lawson’s high school coach said his visit to Kentucky went well and other major programs are picking up interest. The four-star defensive tackle has already turned down Oklahoma, Miami and Oklahoma State.
It’ll likely be another week before we hear anything from Lawson about his future.

The only realistic chance Stoops had to sign Lawson was during his UK official visit. That ship has sailed folks. I guess bad luck does come in threes (Noel, Nate Willis & Tevin Lawson).

He looks very serious. Almost scary. We should get this guy signed up. Yeah, I know, Poythress looked scary good too. Ya win some ya lose some. Best attitude, best skills of any UK athlete: Mashburn. Not even close suckas.

You will likely hear in a week that he’s going somewhere else. Probably the Univ. of Texas or another elite football school. In addition to Nate Willis, I wonder how many other recruits will fail to enroll in the fall for academic reasons? I blame Joker Phillips and George Bush.

Tevin will open his suitcase in Austin and Stoops and Ellliot will jump out.
Ain’t over.
