Like most of you, I spent most of the day pretty bummed out. Something like this happening to Nerlens doesn’t seem fair. A great kid who does everything asked of him (and more) doesn’t deserve this. I’m tired of reading and hearing about it.
To lighten my mood upon arriving home from work, I decided to do something that never fails to make me smile. That’s right. I watched “Harlem Shake” videos.
I wanted to share my joy with you.
1. We’ll start with one from the game last night at Florida.
2. Can the Harlem Shake be done underwater? You bet it can.
3. Can the Harlem Shake be done in snow? You bet it can.
4. Can the Harlem shake be done at Kentucky? You bet it can.
5. And finally, can hot girls in bikinis do the Harlem Shake? I hoped they could. And they can.

The sad thing about the injury is that WE all lose..first and foremost Nerlens and his family lose…then the team loses….then the BBN loses…and then the national BB followers lose because of what might have been. Nerlens is such a credit to himself, his family, and the university community. Anyone would be proud to call him “Son”. He will surely go down as one of the all time FAVS for the program. Here is hoping that maybe he can connect with his disjointed teammates and get them to play to the best of their ability.

Aaron….How can we cheer up when we are left with the fragments of this disaster? Is Harrow suddenly going to grow some stones?….is Poythress finally going to seek a heart transplant so he can understand why he was recruited?….is the perennial outside shooting phenom Goodwin finally going to turn on the after burners??…is Kyle suddenly going to realize that white guys can jump and sometimes defend? We will still be watching the games and coaching from the sidelines but the season is over.

Seriously, people have got way too much time on their hands, especially white people who can’t dance & have convinced themselves they look cool. On cue, some new stupid dance comes up so people can post on Youtube; last year was gangnam style now this train wreck Harlem shake. We are so unbelievably screwed.

How did I know this was the Aaron kids writing again? It was completely pointless and had a complete dearth of basketball/sports knowledge. At least its better than the bachelor posts…and by better, I just mean its shorter.

I can honestly say that I hate almost all of the commenters on this post.
Did you ever have fun as a child?
Did you ever look stupid just because you could?
Did you laugh? Like, ever?
We’ve got a certain number of years to live, and I’d rather make it fun while I’m here.
Also, it’s not your blog, it’s theirs. If they want to post nothing from UK sports and just random pictures of snails all day, they can do it. They don’t owe you anything.

Is it okay if we have an opinion that differs from yours? I think most of the stuff he posts is stupid. Not all of it, but most of it. Maybe he gets assigned crap like bachelor run downs and the harlem shake because the others want a certain percent of ‘wacky’ posts, maybe he chooses to, I don’t know. Either way, it’s okay to voice that we don’t care for it. Okay, so maybe some comments were overboard but hyperbole on an internet comment section is nothing to get upset about.

To balance out the negativity with my own opinion, I look forward to Aaron’s posts, because he’s a good writer, and I honestly don’t mind if he writes about basketball or The Bachelor. As 18 mentioned, KSR could even post random pictures of snails. While I may not ever come back to the site if they do that, it’s their website. Now, if Aaron adds some type of commentary to the snail posts, I’ll probably come back every few days. If they could somehow have snails do the Harlem Shake, I’d be back every day. In fact, give me some basketball updates, Not Jerry Tipton posts, Flener writing about snails doing the Harlem Shake, and I’ll make KSR my homepage.

This shit is wacky!!! Looks like a bunch of yahoos coked up. It’s so addictively funny!! I could watch 50 of these and not get tired of it. I’m feeling old because I don’t know the “rules” for the Harlem Shake but what I gather is the creepy middle person who starts out each video has to gyrate and there seems to be a sense of calm then boom! Everybody wears crazy odd clothes, has props and its chaotic.
Anyone else find the Gator gyrating at the start to feel like Uncle Creepy?!!!
