If you weren’t watching the end of the Michigan-Wisconsin game in Madison about 15 minutes ago, you may have missed the shot of the year in college basketball by Ben Brust of Wisconsin. After Tim Hardaway Jr. knocked down a contested 3-pointer with 2 seconds on the clock to put the Wolverines up 60-57, the Badgers inbounded the ball to Brust at the half-court line where he caught the ball on the run, took a dribble, and let off a floater from about 40 feet before the buzzer. You can probably guess what happens next.
Wisconsin would go on to win 65-62 in Overtime, meaning that the #1, #2, and #3 teams in the country all dropped conference road games this week. I love college basketball.

Likely future comments to this post:
1. Guard the inbounds pass Rick!
2. Foul to prevent the tie Cal!
3. Something about white people.

exhibit #23829 why coaches need to foul when up three. And if your defense is that it is too risky or he would have got a shooting foul, that is weak sauce. The Wisconsin player catches the ball facing the opposite basket, takes four or five steps and a dribble. Plenty of time to foul.

this is why i can’t understand people giving up on UK already. 1,2 and 3 all lost this week. There have been new number ones for weeks now. Lot of basketball left and we are getting better..

Can anyone explain to me why Missouri is still in the top 25 when they have the same record as us, except that they’ve lost twice as many games in the SEC?
Other than the people voting in the polls are idiots, I mean.

The bigger drama in this game should be how was Hardaway Jr allowed to be in the OT final play for Michigan after he had already fouled out of the game.

Wisconsin might be the scariest team in March. I’m not saying they’ll win it all, but NO team wants to face them.

7) the TV graphic was incorrect. He actually had four because he was incorrectly give Robinson III’s foul earlier in the game.

Divine intervention on that shot.

And they didn’t rush the court. Take note IU fans…

I liked the basket Illinois scored with .9 seconds on the clock to defeat IU. Illinois putting all of their players 20 ft from the basket, and IU crean leaving the paint not defended for a player cutting to the paint for a lay up.

12. They did rush the court at the end of OT
