This kid went to bed happy last night. His Hoosiers were ranked #1 and he was looking forward to making Valentine’s for his class party next Thursday. Little did he know he’d wake up this morning and find out Indiana lost to Illinois on a last second layup. On Monday, look for Indiana to “drop back to number ten or eleven.”

February 8th, 2013 at 8:50 pm
KSR has to put this image on the KSR Compound water cooler cups.
February 8th, 2013 at 8:52 pm
I can almost taste the tears. God I hate Indiana.
February 8th, 2013 at 8:52 pm
Geez……
February 8th, 2013 at 8:53 pm
And how about voting this P.O.S for “Dad Of The Year” for putting his son on YouTube.
February 8th, 2013 at 8:55 pm
10 year old Indiana? Keep it up Fleener any bachelor updates?
February 8th, 2013 at 8:57 pm
“It’s all about how you play in March.” That’s correct. Suck it IU.
February 8th, 2013 at 9:02 pm
Start early enough and he may be worse then most of the iu fans, difficult to understand.
February 8th, 2013 at 9:04 pm
They should put this on a popcorn box!
February 8th, 2013 at 9:04 pm
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!
February 8th, 2013 at 9:06 pm
Ha, Ha, Ha, he must have really been crying when UK whipped their donkey butts in the sweet 16 last year.
February 8th, 2013 at 9:07 pm
shame on that father telling his son that they have a good team… lies… he should be arrested for raising him as an IU fan anyway
February 8th, 2013 at 9:07 pm
I feel for the kid. I woke up to a lot of mornings like that growing up during the Tubby years
February 8th, 2013 at 9:08 pm
We don’t storm the court after big wins, but we will mock you for over a year after we lose to you, even if we win the National Championship in the mean time.
February 8th, 2013 at 9:08 pm
Dad says “it’s how you play in March”. Hope for the kid it’s not how IU’s played in March since 1986.
February 8th, 2013 at 9:10 pm
I’m not sure what’s worse… crying over the Hoosiers or this kid’s Dad put this on YouTube. Get him in therapy now because he’s going to need it for te years of bullying he’s going to face in school now. Thank you father kid.
February 8th, 2013 at 9:12 pm
Saw this on another board. The guy also posted a pic of Noel with some wealthy folks(members of the Brown family)in Louisville:
I am sure most guys on here will probably say I am making things up. But I am a law enforcement officer here in Louisville and tonight while working an off duty side job at VIP party there was a Nerlens Noel sighting(confirmed) at a lil past midnight. After being spotted by partner and myself he quickly left the party along with his entourage. While standing in the parking lot, a black charger pulled in and slammed on the brakes. And guess who jumps out? Calipari himself, telling Noel to get his a** in the f****** car! Now as to why either are in Louisville at midnight on a Thursday I have no idea. I found it to be a bit odd, especially seeing Noel at this party, due to the really swanky(RICH) environment
February 8th, 2013 at 9:16 pm
Correction: a last second WIDE OPEN layup
February 8th, 2013 at 9:17 pm
#17… Link?
February 8th, 2013 at 9:17 pm
Cold!! Coming from a father. But absolutely hilarious. I think there is another picture of a kid crying, I believe from the Duke archives. I’d love to see a side by side video option on that. KSR, make this happen!!
February 8th, 2013 at 9:18 pm
17- so is there a point to your story or what?
February 8th, 2013 at 9:20 pm
19) It is a premium site. There is likely nothing to it. But the guy did post a pic of Noel at this party. The party was at Bowman field in louisville.
The guy also posted this:
It was a private VIP party at Bowman Field. And when he first came in all we saw was a big tall skinny guy with his hood over his head. My partner and i were trying to figure it out. So we decided to go check it out since a large group had started to gather around him. Low and behold i knew instantly it was Noel as soon as I walked up. We introduced ourselves and that was it. We walked away and he turned and left. Lol about 5 mins later is when the charger Calipari was driving pulled in.
February 8th, 2013 at 9:22 pm
#22. Okay cool. Some of us are subscribed to premium sites.
February 8th, 2013 at 9:23 pm
Kid’s too old to be crying. If he keeps this up, he’ll end up at Duke.
February 8th, 2013 at 9:24 pm
21) I am gussing the guy’s point is why would a basketball player from uk be at a party full of old rich people, in the city of louisville? Just my take.
February 8th, 2013 at 9:26 pm
Poor guy(Even if he is a Hoosier Fan). I felt the same way after the West Texas State game in ’66.
February 8th, 2013 at 9:26 pm
I would make fun, but that’s exactly how I was after the infamous dUKe game in 1992…. And I was 25!!
Now problem with anyone who follows their team as passionately as I follow mine…yes, even if it is silly Hoosiers!
February 8th, 2013 at 9:29 pm
S.b *No Problem… Mental note, my proofreader.
February 8th, 2013 at 9:30 pm
Proof by photo, link or its all bullshit.
February 8th, 2013 at 9:30 pm
22) Saw similar stuff posted on two other uk boards todsay. It kept getting deleted though.
February 8th, 2013 at 9:31 pm
25- so whats illeagle about that
February 8th, 2013 at 9:32 pm
The tradition at Indiana could be stacked up against the tradition of any other college sports team anywhere because of everything that has gone on here, in the sense of how many players have played here, how many championships have been won here. The players were household names to me, so it’s very, very easy for me to promote that and to want to be a part of that and to welcome that. That’s our lifeline … The tradition is what Indiana stands for and what I want it to stand for, and so we want to reward that and embrace that at every possible turn. I wear my hair like an asshole because I cant help it.
February 8th, 2013 at 9:33 pm
Just goes to show that a passionate fanbase is not unique to the BBN.. Suck it up Kid, losses happen. The dad is an excellent candidate for the notso Father of the Year award.
February 8th, 2013 at 9:34 pm
31) I would say nothing, but it does seem odd.
February 8th, 2013 at 9:37 pm
31.) We are making fun of an IU Fan. Im gonna guess its “HOO-HOO-HOOSIERS” trolling.
February 8th, 2013 at 9:47 pm
Poor kid. That’s not something a Dad should film. At least the crying Duke kid is the fault of the national media for filming him in the first place.
And he’s still young enough to be redeemed. I’ll bring the blue and someone bring a DVD of the Mardi Gras Miracle (it is my most inspiring game in Kentucky history.)
February 8th, 2013 at 9:50 pm
22.) who has a party a bowman field? I dont know many people who have a party at an airport.
February 8th, 2013 at 9:52 pm
My God…why is a college kid out after 10PM….at a party….for publicity…in a city other than Lexington. Creepers keep Creepin’…get to bed
February 8th, 2013 at 10:16 pm
I was walking down the street minding my own business then a man walks up and punches me in the chest. I look up and it’s Noel, I say Noel? He said, oops…. I thought you was somebody else! True story ! Lol
February 8th, 2013 at 10:18 pm
Father is wrong. They will never be important!
February 8th, 2013 at 10:22 pm
#39 You ain’t never met Dr. Martin Luther the king! Uh, I mean, you ain’t never met Nerlens Noel the human eraser!
February 8th, 2013 at 10:22 pm
I know the party and the people stated. Nothing news worthy as anyone w/$20 bucks can get in. Just a db fan trying to make something out of nothing, as is their way and only option. When you have nothing but hate anything you can grasp hold of must be made larger than it actually is in real life. I guess going to a charity function is somehow against the law for UK players and is certainly not a place one will find any of their players.Unless of course they are the charity it is being held for. Where is the outrage for the Mistake on Main? No that is rather a point of pride for them as they stuck it to the rest of the state in their bird brains.Funny how that works, if it weren’t so incredibly sad/maddening. GBB!!!
February 8th, 2013 at 10:23 pm
That Noel stuff was on the Kentucky Scout site today, but has since been deleted. It wasn’t up long.
February 8th, 2013 at 10:26 pm
Beautiful Mr Flener. What a great find. Maybe your best post yet.
February 8th, 2013 at 10:34 pm
#41….. Haha.. You got it!
February 8th, 2013 at 10:37 pm
Sexual chocolate…. That boys good. Mmm hmmm, good and terrible!
February 8th, 2013 at 10:40 pm
Screw all of you people. Do you not remember what it felt like in 97′? I was 11 and cried myself to sleep that night.
February 8th, 2013 at 10:43 pm
The Noel sighting cannot be true. I am a law enforcement officer in Owensboro n Nerlons was on a ride along with me at that time. There was a terrible accident and he was BLOCKING traffic. Suck it troll.
February 8th, 2013 at 10:46 pm
22… In today’s world if anything had been going on we would have had 15 YouTube videos posted by now. Everyone carries a smartphone. Yawn.
February 8th, 2013 at 10:51 pm
Get usd to it kd. you’re gonna be a Loosier for a long long time.
February 8th, 2013 at 10:53 pm
One of my greatest UK memories was being a kid and crying after we lost to UNC in the Elite Eight in 94/95. That night dad took me to get ice cream and told me that we were gonna win it all the next year. And, per usual, he was right. I’m not gonna make fun of this little kid for crying when his team loses, because I (and most UK fans) have been in his shoes. Now, as far as the father youtubeing a video of his kid crying… that’s a different story.
February 8th, 2013 at 10:54 pm
I’m no more of a law enforcement officer than he is but it doesn’t take a detective to figure out that was BS. Yes it would have been on every media outlet n the country today if it was true.
February 8th, 2013 at 10:57 pm
Where did that kid get his hair cut ? at the butcher shop ?
February 8th, 2013 at 10:57 pm
So funny IU has trouble playing away from their home court. Need to take some notes from Cal and play more neutral games in big arena’s
February 8th, 2013 at 11:03 pm
1. Everyone in Louisville knows the Brown family are supporters of UL. 2. Cal would have been in Washington, DC the majority of day yesterday, so it makes it really hard to believe he was then later in Louisville. 3. If anyone really believes Cal was riding around Louisville in a Dodge Charger, then I have a soon to be bankrupt basketball arena to sell you.
February 8th, 2013 at 11:06 pm
If this kid was a member of any other fanbase including UL, I may be sorry for him a little. Since he’s not, I hope he’s still crying.
February 8th, 2013 at 11:11 pm
I’m no policeman or detective either but it’s easy to see through that stuff. That little boy is probably gonna be crying a few more times this year too. Starting Sunday at Ohio St.

February 8th, 2013 at 11:23 pm
I’m not a private eye either, but its pretty easy to find that Nerlens was at the party. It took 30 seconds to confirm and he was definitely there. The part about Nerlens leaving after 5 minutes and Calipari in the black helicopter (Charger) is the ridiculous part. Nerlens appears at the beginning and end of the album, proving he was there much longer than 5 minutes and didnt leave in a rush b/c of wrongdoing.
February 8th, 2013 at 11:26 pm
“It’s how you play in March.” Way to go, Dad. Your son is already blubbering like a little girl, and you have to throw salt in his wounds by reminding him of last year? Parents like this are why teens shoot up schools.
February 8th, 2013 at 11:54 pm
That was sooo me as a kid. Brings back memories after we got beat by Marquette one year in the mid-90s lol
February 9th, 2013 at 12:27 am
Where can this ALBUM be found? Would like to see it.
February 9th, 2013 at 1:11 am
From what I understand Nerlons walked into the party n was greeted by one of UL coaches n they had a 15 second conversation. The UL coach went to the parking lot n got in his Ford Escort and appeared to be trying to put his car in gear and was saying Nerlons,Nerlons, wish we had you Nerlons. Look this up on Utube. Won’t take much time. You know. About 15 seconds.
February 9th, 2013 at 1:22 am
The next video shows a White Out on the coaches pants leg in the Escort. It is rated PG-13 so ask mommy if its OK if u watch it.
February 9th, 2013 at 2:00 am
A whiney Hoosier fan. What a shock!!!!! The kid is a wuss and his dad is an idiot. Stupid, whiney, Hoosier fans. Real men cheer for Kentucky. GO BIG BLUE!!!
February 9th, 2013 at 2:18 am
As a member of the brown family I just want to say that we are huge supporters of kentucky basketball
February 9th, 2013 at 2:21 am
jk… throw it up for the ville, L1C4
February 9th, 2013 at 2:46 am
First, that kid is way too old to be crying like a three year old girl. Second, the dad seems like a sensible college basketball fan. I wasn’t aware Indiana had any of those.
February 9th, 2013 at 2:54 am
As a huge supporter of the Brown family we call you a “jock strap” bi**h. Get u a mouth full of that.
February 9th, 2013 at 2:59 am
I’ll explain to you what a jock strap is because I’m sure that a foreign language to you. That’s what the football, basketball and baseball players were wearing in the locker room while you were staring at them and picking up the towels. You know those things you picked up off the floor and rubbed on your face.
February 9th, 2013 at 7:44 am
Funny to hear the kids Dad say it doesn’t matter where you’re ranked it only matter how you’re playing in March. LOL But Hoosier fan storm the court in December after they beat a #1 UK team?! Somethig wrong with that statement.
February 9th, 2013 at 8:24 am
“Save your tears for March, kid” –his mom.
February 9th, 2013 at 8:49 am
Judging by the sound of his voice, I think the terrible father behind the camera is Digger Phelps. I assume he is holding a red highlighter to match the color of his walls.
February 9th, 2013 at 9:35 am
Been there. Come on dad, those moments of weeping for ur team should go on YouTube. And take ur own advice, all about how u play in March. Let the Wafford shot go and stop getting sweet sixteen rings for Christ’s sake. Act like you have been there before, cause you have even though it was before most of us were born.
February 9th, 2013 at 9:41 am
Another fart sniffing hoosier crybaby.
February 9th, 2013 at 9:43 am
If you really listen to the dads voice it sounds just like our old friend DIGGER PHELPS!!! hahaha it really does
February 9th, 2013 at 11:02 am
this was me as a child from 1996-2000. I cried basically every time we lost. UK basketball is life as a child (and still kinda is)!
February 9th, 2013 at 12:32 pm
Glad my kids don’t cry over a basketball game. That’s really gay!
February 9th, 2013 at 2:31 pm
I expect to have this boy on my show in a few years for having a F’ed up dad. IU has lost 14 of the last 15 times they have played Illinois. They have lost 11 straight too Wisconsin. They won 2 road games last year. They have been to 1 final four in the last 20 years. So, every IU fan should be used to losing.
