Don’t give up on Tevin Lawson to Kentucky. Not yet. Rivals.com is reporting Lawson will visit Lexington this weekend. It was reported yesterday that he canceled his trip and planned to visit Louisiana Tech instead. Now, Kentucky is back in play for the four-star defensive tackle and UK’s chances are good if Mark Stoops can convince Mama Lawson to let her baby boy leave Louisiana.

Come on, Mama Lawson. You don’t want your baby boy attending school minus a scholarship his first year. Grayshirt? What does that say about LSU’s priorities regarding Tevin? Tevin will play right away in the SEC at UK and it isn’t THAT far from the Bayou…oh, and the Gumbo in Lexington is pretty good, too.

7.) Coach Stoops is actually recruiting against Mama Lawson. She want her boy to stay close to home. He was committed to LSU and is a concensus 4star recruit so I don’t really know where you are trying to go with that comment.

Hal, sarcasm is almost always dependent upon facial expression and tone of voice. Very difficult to convey to a reader.

Lawson is a great pick up for the Cats. Saw him play in the US Army Red Stick bowl and he definitly looks the part. According to his coach, he has great potential and can play in the SEC.

Urban Meyer on a Cincinnati radio interview said OS is going to “smother” and “own” recruiting in the Cincinnati area. Guess he don’t know Stoops just got (2) out of Cincy this year. Wounder what new Cincy coach Tuberville thinks of that ?

He would be a great pick up. He could play this year at UK. Playing 4 years in the SEC would give him a great chance to develop for a NFL career.
