The movement towards major facility renovation for UK football is one step closer to completion. The Kentucky House of Representative passed the funding bill 97-1 on Thursday to move the bill to the Kentucky State Senate. The bill allows for bonding for three major university projects, one of which is for UK football. Next up the Kentucky State Senate…if that hurdle is jumped, the Governor is expected to sign and UK football fans can all rejoice.

When is the Senate expected to vote on it?
February 7th, 2013 at 3:32 pm
Well, someone is going to lose their re-election bid. I think we need to know who it was that voted no. It’s probably a UofL fan or a dumb@ss. But really aren’t they one and the same anyway?

There is always that one guy who has to be a tool.

Jay Bilas, whose opinion I respect greatly, lists Kentucky #13 in his power rankings….pretty good read and the most respect we’ve been given from a national media member since our two losses and drop from the polls.

February 7th, 2013 at 3:51 pm

February 7th, 2013 at 3:52 pm

Well, its good to know that Toby is using, his, uh, high school diploma to the fullest. And by self employed, he probably owns a gun shop/survivalist store. And since he doesn’t have post-secondary education, as his bio states, he wants to deny funding so others can catch up on the latest trends. Like science. Or the fossil record. And watch a football game or two to completely pay for it.

Is there Any “generic” logins out there for ESPN IN Articles?
February 7th, 2013 at 4:23 pm
The sad thing; this shouldn’t be that big of a deal, a news story or have the BBN or UK stressed out. Passing this bill should be common sense & a given. KY where Winston Churchill comments about America is fitting: You can always count on KY to do the right thing – after they’ve tried everything else.
February 7th, 2013 at 4:34 pm
Sen. Joe Bowen actually answered my personal call(I expected a secretary) and he said he will vote yes.
February 7th, 2013 at 5:19 pm
I certainly hope the BBN from Beattyville lets Toby know how you feel about his representation of you.
February 7th, 2013 at 5:21 pm
Expect a Republican to filibuster it. It’s just out of habit now.
