I knew National Signing Day was going well when my mom sent me a text message that included the hashtag “#DyeYourEggs!” At first, I was a little confused- I was in nanny land with three kids, unable to keep up with NSD coverage every minute, and I thought this was her trying to say I should freeze my eggs in case I’m single forever. I was happy to find out that she was simply quoting assistant coach Bradley Dale Peveto and not prematurely freaking out that she won’t have grandkids. Don’t worry Mom, Rachel will make sure the Geil family legacy carries on.
While I was busy interpreting my mom’s mysterious texts, Nick Roush and the rest of the KSR College football writers were busy absolutely killing it with National Signing Day coverage. They went above and beyond the call of duty, going so far as to stalk Facebook for pictures of the recruits that are far more colorful than their Rivals.com profile pictures, as well as great fun facts. The Baton Rouge Advocate reported that Denham Springs lineman, Tevin Lawson is planning a trip to UK for an offical visit. Lawson decommited from LSU and has offers from Tenneesse along with several other schools.
