[Moderated by Matt Jones, Drew Franklin and Tyler Thompson]

After Ryan Timmons and the potential of Jason Hatcher, you didn’t think it could get any better did you? Well, don’t go to sleep yet. 300 pound 4 star Florida Defensive Tackle Keith Bryant says he is considering Kentucky when he makes his announcement tomorrow. For weeks, everyone has assumed that the star player was picking between South Carolina, Florida State and Miami. But today he went hat shopping and picked up a USC AND Kentucky hat as well. He tells 24/7 Sports about the Cats:
“I love Coach Stoops at Kentucky and he’s offering me a deal I can’t refuse,” Bryant said. “I would have a chance to go up there with Tevin (Spells) and the rest of my teammates. Anything could happen with that.”
It seems too good to be true and it probably is. The Cats are likely going to steal one player from Florida and another from USC. But could they get a third from South Carolina/Miami/Florida State? We have to think no…but with our man Stoops, you never know….

If we sign Jason Hatcher, Tevin Lawson and Keith Bryant my head will explode. With that being said, anyone who follows recruiting know Keith Bryant is the troll of all trolls when it comes to pretending to show interest in schools he’s not interested in. But a man can dream right??
February 5th, 2013 at 5:30 pm
Sounds like Stoops is The Godfather making offers recruits can’t refuse. I think we need another Drew Franklin Photoshop…
February 5th, 2013 at 5:33 pm

February 5th, 2013 at 5:36 pm
Keith Bryant is the ultimate troll. He got sent home early from his OV to FAU because he wasn’t taking it seriously. Don’t trust anything he says lolz.

February 5th, 2013 at 5:48 pm
“…and he’s offering me a deal…”
Guess the haters only come after Cal cause if a bball recruit said that…well…fan would hit the sh*t in the national media.
February 5th, 2013 at 5:48 pm
I might have to go change my underwear.
February 5th, 2013 at 5:51 pm
We beat LSU when they were #1 and then they won the National Championship and I’d think our recruiting classes up to that point were mayb # 20 out of the teams in the SEC… so if we can beat #1 and be that bad, I like our chances with a #12 recruiting class.
February 5th, 2013 at 5:57 pm
Oh snap! Can’t fault the effort Stoops is making!
February 5th, 2013 at 5:57 pm
An offer I cant refuse….Does that mean Tevin is coming? Sounds like it to me. Go Cats
February 5th, 2013 at 6:10 pm
#13, #16 is exactly right. assuming you’re not just a troll, which you prolly are, if we’ve been able to compete in some games and actually win a few against the sec (auburn, georgia, lsu, usc, ut, arkansas) with the worst class in the conference, and quite frankly one that was not just last but very far from being relevant, imagine what we could do with one that has closed the gap considerably with the field, even if it were #14,13 12 or 11, it doesn’t matter so long as you’re closing the gap with the competition, which has been done. get your head out of your a#@.
February 5th, 2013 at 6:15 pm
We are not dead last. We’re ahead of Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri and after tomorrow, who knows who else
February 5th, 2013 at 6:22 pm
Somebody pinch me, this is insane.
February 5th, 2013 at 6:26 pm
13. That would make us #5 in the ACC if we were the kind of school that played in a second rate conference. And 25 spots ahead of UL.

February 5th, 2013 at 7:04 pm
What is the word on Hearns? Is he academically eligible for UK?
February 5th, 2013 at 7:05 pm
I hope it’s true that he signs with us, but remember–we’re in the dead period right before NSD. These last 12 hours or so everyone is saying everything. Don’t set yourself up for disappointment. Just be cautiously optimistic. It will make it that much better if we do snag him.
February 5th, 2013 at 7:48 pm
Any word on DJ Stafford?
February 5th, 2013 at 7:52 pm

Put in Richie!
February 6th, 2013 at 12:05 am
Where are all the people (including M. Jones) that said Kentucky could never get these type of players? A chance to play immediately in the SEC is a major recruiting advantage. Add an exciting offense with a solid defense coach. Stoops is selling it. Finally, we have someone that gets it.
