What happened to all of these ballyhooed 4 star – 5 star guys looking at UK football??? They still are committing!!!!

  2. boomerstooper Says:

Yes! Beat out those Florida schools!! Oh wait… it was THOSE Florida schools….

  3. Jake_GOCATS Says:

    1. We have 4 4 star recruits committed according to ESPN. Za’Darius Smith, Javess Blue, Jojo Kemp, and Jaleel Hytchye.

  4. Baby b Says:

You can win with a roster full of 3 stars. Cobb 2 star as well as lindly both very very good. Newton 4 star not very good.

  5. Not one of the big gets Says:

Not a bad pick up but with only 5 or 6 spots left, I would like to see more players like Alexander, Hatcher, Woulard, Samples, Lawson, Timmons
Several 4/5 star guys left, I would be happy if UK could snag any of the 3 names listed above.

  6. Korea Says:

Not a great offer list but a good pickup nevertheless, because our current offensive line situation makes children cry.

  7. Jake_GOCATS Says:

Yeah we have won with 3 star recruits before. Look at 06 and 07. We had some good two and 3 star recruits, then a couple 4 star guys to go with them in the 05 and 06 class.

  8. Baby b Says:

Welcome to BBN Nick, we r happy to have you

  9. Not one of the big gets Says:

If UK can get Hatcher or Woulard then I could probably care less about the others as that would be a big enough pick up to make the class!

  10. jobob Says:

Stop being so negative. These are better quality players than we have got in the past. We will get the big dawgs after our brand is out there next year and kids see the excitement of the Air Raid. Lets ride the momentum into signing day were we will see some big suprises. Look out SEC! Momentum is about to switch to the BBN!

  11. jobob Says:

I think we get Timmons, not so sure about Hatcher. Kepping my fingers crossed.

  12. Stone Says:

Have heard that Coach Schlarman loves his potential. Welcome aboard, Nick!

  13. bozeebobo Says:

you guys base everything on stars if its not high enough u discount it as a fail, but stoops is recruiting 3.8 stars versus 3.2 star guys joker brought in

  14. welcome Says:

Welcome to BBN Mr. Haynes and don’t listen to the folks like #2. You might ask him if ANY school wanted him in high school.

  15. Baby b Says:

Off subject but I believe all these receivers that we r getting will have to beat out Daryl Collins at that position think he will excel in this offense

  16. Horsepower Says:

#2 Louisville troll, shouldn’t you be concerned about 4star DT Derrick Calloway from Bradinton,FL fliping from Louisville to South FL last week?

  17. Brandon Stockton's Belly Says:

This commit will bring class up to around 32 using rivals points calculator. 3-4 by signing day and we knock on top 20 door

  18. MadTex Says:

Blah…blah…blah… UK football recruiting sucks and will continue to suck!!!

  19. bozzebobo Says:

Blah Blah Blah go home tex u are the one who sucks

  20. BigBlueBallz Says:

We WILL get Timmons and Hatcher. Likely 2 or 3 surprises on NSD as well, outside of those two.

  21. Bird in Kentucky Says:

He is 6’4 294 lbs, He’s a big boy. Welcome to UK Nick.

  22. jonathan Says:

18, lol, what can i say other than how miserable your life must be?! to troll this board and continue to spew the nonsense that any objective, rational mind couldn’t possibly believe, just to get some kind of twisted sense of pleasure from it. fball recruiting sucks, huh? how about you make a point about how it sucks? oh, wait, you couldn’t do that because this will be our best class of all time, with higher rated talent per player then ever before. you’re a joke, but i would encourage you to keep posting because we all need a laugh now and again.

  23. Niceville_CAT Says:

Glad to see UK start recruiting down here again… Niceville plays some really good competition from all over the southeast… there is a lot of talent in the area here

  24. 3cats Says:

red shirt and coach him up. He give us numbers on the OL which we needed. Plus a Fl kid.

  25. explorer Says:

You guys have to get off this how many stars they have thing. Rivals rankings have zero offensive guards ranked as a 5 star. There are eighteen 4 stars. Haynes is ranked as the 40th best OG in the nation. Football recruiting is about positions.

And how much time and effort do you think Rivals puts into evaluating offensive lineman all across the country? There is no AAU FB that allows kids to be evaluated at single events. They look at the stat sheets more than anything. How big is he, how fast is he, how strong is he – give him 3 stars we are done.

  26. BigGirlCat Says:

Been doing some research on this kid. Looks like a good one with tons of potential. Just started playing football his junior year (he’s a basketball player) and had looks from several colleges. I believe Stoops and company know what they are doing. Opening the pipeline from this area to UK is huge! Welcome aboard Mr. Haynes!

  27. JEREMY Says:

Hey Mad Tex, what a really cool name by the way… You sound like a real cool one. Why don’t you go find another team to root for. We don’t need fans like you with 0% knowledge on football, your just ignorant and sound like a sour UofL fan. So go root for teams that only get 5 star players, and jump on their band wagon, cause UK don’t need a fan like you! Its not about the stars, Its about how they play on the field! Remember Randall Cobb? 2 or 3 star? How did that work out bro? GO CATS!!!

  28. JEREMY Says:

BLAH Blah, Mad Tex you will continue to suck!

  29. JEREMY Says:

TWO FANS POSING AS UK FANS SAY:

Yes! Beat out those Florida schools!! Oh wait… it was THOSE Florida schools….

  30. JEREMY Says:

GREAT PICK UP BY STOOPS! WELCOME TO BBN NICK! WE ARE GLAD TO HAVE YOU! GO CATS!

  31. ikeeveready Says:

Joe Staley was a 6’2 225#, 2 star tight end who committed to Central Michigan in ’03. They moved him in and now he is an All Pro LEFT Tackle starting for the Niners.

This kid made the switch in HS. Who know what his upside looks like.

Welcome aboard Nick, maybe you can be the next Joe Staley.

  32. I hope he doesn't read this board Says:

I can’t believe some of you are bashing a kid that wants to play for us . If I read this board , I’d decommit …some of you all suck ass .

  33. Beat me to it. Says:

    32. You said it. People wonder why we have a crappy football program, we chase off anybody and everybody who is trying to help us. It’s not all about stars. I’m happy to have a guy that’s willing to move far away from home and play for a team that’s had some tough seasons. We’re on the upswing though, we’re going to improve. We’re going to succeed.

  34. I hope he doesn't read this board Says:

And most , if not ANY of these a-holes have even seen the man play . Leave the recruiting to Coach Stoops and Co . You aren’t the experts that you think you are .

  35. G-unit Says:

Our class just jumped from 42nd to 31st…and we still have the likes of Timmons, Hatcher, Smith along with the DT from LSU and Jarran Reed… possibly some others too…. top 25 here we come!

  36. MustangCat Says:

Nick, if you do read this, know that we have an abundance of U of smell fans who actually believe no one knows who they are on here. They are our residents, so they can’t leave the premises. I’ve read several profiles on this kid. Former TE, very athletic, long, mainly inexperienced due to lack of time playing the sport and position. VERY high upside! Strong. Good feet, good hips. Developmental Ayer, but not a “project”. High potential. Thank you for picking us!!! A lot like Meant, off the charts potential.

  37. gvillecat Says:

Glad to have him. Keep the Florida kids coming! Gotta build up that base. FL, GA, OH has to be where the majority of UK players come from. Mix in 10-20% KY kids and all will be happy.

  38. RichmondRob Says:

I trust my current coaches far more than my previous coaches. Stoops believes he can win with the players he chooses and his career is on the line. Negative fans need to get on board or shut up and find another team to root for.

  39. Bluecat Says:

The ul a-holes are upset because they KNOW BBN is passing them up.
Date to remember, Sept 18th in commonwealth, Cats’ 28, lil bro, 24!

THATS why they are so upset, GO BLUE!

  40. Bluecat Says:

    Thanks Mr Haynes, welcome aboard!

    STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPSSSSSS!

  41. SoCal Will Says:

“Look who we have our Haynes on now.” Size – check. Speed – check. Athleticism – check. Jumps at the chance to be a Cat – check.

  42. Steve Says:

#18 Sort of like your mother! :-)

  43. 2020 Says:

We need some Perry Stevensons to fill out the roster. Not everyone is John Wall.

  44. Gator Chomp Says:

We offered this kid to wash jock starps for next year.

  45. Gator Chump Says:

You should have offered to let him teach you remedial spelling.
