Nicely done. There is a preseason buzz that I have not experienced in my my lifetime and I am 44. Keep it going and produce results–the school and fans deserve it.
What kind of seek individual would be checking out a blog on a Sunday morning to find out about what may have happened between from 12:47 and 9:00 am on UK Football! Oh yeah, me!!!! C A T S, cats, cats, cats!!!!!! Stoooooooooops!
Don’t u all forget me now with all the buzz and excitement over new coach and staff. Don’t forget that I was really the one that got this thing turned around. My only mistake, and perhaps the biggest of my career, was thinking that Joker would take the baton and continue the ascension. He was a total flop, and I like many of you have been quick to put him in the rear view mirror. Also, please keep me in mind with all the renovations that are scheduled.
I can’t remember buzz and excitement surrounding this football team as much as it is right now on my lifetime, except maybe the 2007 team coming off an 8-5 record I’m 06. We all know joe exciting both those years were. As a student at UK, I can say the excitement on campus for the football team is unreal. I can’t wait for the Spring game on April 13. My Birthday is the day before that so it’s a great late present for me. Thank you Coach Stoops for building up the excitement around this program and hopefully it translates to success on the field. C-A-T-S CATS CATS CATS!
I’m so ready for Cat Football. No, not expecting a bowl bid but it’s just the focus and commitment I now see for the first time in a long, long, time. Outstanding.
I like the commercial, and I’m very excited about the future of this program. But can anyone tell me why Dawson, a Lexington & UK product isn’t featured? The guy was inducted into the pro football hall of fame.
25 – I’m guessing it’s because this is aimed at 17-year-old recruits from outside Kentucky, and unfortunately, probably almost none of them know who Dermontti Dawson is (he retired from the Steelers when they were 4), or care about what he did at UK before they were born.
Opinion – The key to Dicky and Brax being in the video is that they both made huge plays against the #1 team in the nation that led to a win and they were recruited from Ga and La, fertile grounds that we have/are attempting to farm. We hired a coach with lots of ties to Louisiana (Peveto) and we’ve been very successful in Georgia. Add in the fact that Dicky was a legacy and you bring the Wildcat history (his Dad’s name flies over the stadium, remember) in to the present without showing video from before the recruits were born. It doesn’t hurt that Dicky and Stevie are the two biggest personalities we’ve had in recent years either.

He makes good hires when his job is on the line. When it isn’t we end up with clowns like BCG and Joker.

Good lord, this video made my nipples hard. I still have 4 years of eligibility. Where do I sign?

How come the win against TN was not shown or the win against SC? Those would have been good to add.
February 3rd, 2013 at 1:19 pm
Great editing. The Dickie catch you can see the ref say he was out of bounds… couldn’t cut that out?
February 3rd, 2013 at 1:46 pm
Watching that video, its almost like the Joker era never occurred…which is OK with me.

Nice work. Can’t wait to beat Florida. And Tennessee. And South Carolina.

Not sure Dickey Lyons Jr and Braxton Kelly get too many recruits, or even knowledgeable fans pumped up.
February 3rd, 2013 at 10:58 pm
31- that hit and Dickey throws on the LSU player would get anyone pumped up

LOVE the video. Not sure how Wesley Woodyard is not in it though. One of the all-time UK greats and current NFL starter.
