According to reports out of Houston, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was lying on the court, initially motionless after the back of his head hit teammate Jeffery Taylor’s knee. A stretcher was brought out to take MKG off the court. Kidd-Gilchrist was down for over 6 minutes. Prayers go out to Kidd-Gilchrist.

I’m watching the game on thefirstrow and saw it happen. MKG tried to block a guy going in for a layup and as he came down the back of his head hit Taylor’s hip bone. They just reported he’s on the way to the hospital in an ambulance.
