Jeff Badet on his commitment to Kentucky

by @ 8:00 pm. Filed under Blue Blooded Opinions

Jeff Badet, a 3-star wide receiver, announced his commitment tonight by saying that he would be “taking my talents down to Lexington.” Badet mentioned the fact that while on his visits to Kentucky, he really bonded with the players from the DBs to the kickers. Badet specifically mentioned quarterback Max Smith as being one of the players he bonded with the most.

Echoing the sentiments of many of the players already committed to Kentucky since Stoops’ arrival, Badet said that he is “ready to turn this program around.”

Badet mentioned that two of the big draws for him to Kentucky were the potential for playing time right away, as well as playing in the SEC. Badet also mentioned Neal Brown’s offense as being a huge draw, discussing how he has 4 wide receivers on the field at all times.Mark Stoops also helped to seal the deal when he immediately visited Badet’s parents following his official visit to Lexington. “Big thing with Mark Stoops is when I took my visit, he literally came down to my house the next day to go see my parents and talk about my visit.”

Jeff Badet may have stolen a bit of Jojo Kemp’s thunder when he discussed as part of his announcement that he and Kemp were very close. Badet mentioned that the two had already talked about rooming together while at Kentucky.

2 3. Star rating system is stupid the kids can play ball. We should feel lucky to have them. Look at Texas AnM this past season. Their whole roster was pretty much 3 stars and how did their season turn out?

  10. Stickman Says:

I never saw Bama or Florida fans on this site before Stoops arrived. Now that he’s making noise they’re making a point to come comment on our recruits. That tells me they’re scared. We don’t have a prayer against them this year or even next, but if things continue on this trajectory the little chickens will be running all over the barnyard.

  11. Roll tide Says:

#10 lmao please email nick Saban that in 2 years UK will have the little chickens of Bama running anywhere. Tide by 6 Td’s next year and every year. Maybe stoops gets lucky and only loses by 4 Td’s in 3 years, if he is still at UK.

  12. Stickman Says:

Thank you for swallowing the bait so completely and proving my point.

    The prosecution rests.

  13. Wes Brisco Says:

    11. Right cause the last 2 times UK has played bama they have lost by 12 td’s, actually make that 3, TOTAL. #idiot
