  1. mocha Says:

    12 blocks, unreal

  2. Cotton Mash Says:

    Ole Miss had been holding opponents to 35% FG %

  3. EC Says:

    Kyle got a block, stat guys missed that.

  4. Syrin Says:

    Three key stats

    - 12 blocks
    - 5 for 12 from the three point line
    - 12 for 14 from the FT line

    We got outrebounded again, but this team HEART. Got a big lead on the road, lost and TOOK IT BACK !!

  5. sccat Says:

    HELL YES….!!!! GREAT TO SEE A GOOD 2ND HALF, AND COMING BACK AFTER OTHER TEAM GOES ON A 16-0 RUN. GREAT CONFIDENCE BUILDER !!!!

  6. Jkwon Says:

    Nerlens is a monster! I love this kid! He is so fun to watch play D! I now see why they said he was a better shot blocker than Davis! Not sure he is yet but man he is close!

  7. mudcreekmark Says:

    Noel blocked 12 shots and probably altered another 12 that didn’t go in.

  8. EC Says:

    4) Archie carried us at the line tonight, no doubt. Hope the haters give the kid his due.

  9. PIX2CLICK Says:

    ====

    Cats played their BEST game of the year and were rewarded with a victory !Q

    My compliments to the referees who called it TIGHT from the git-go ……

    The crowd was nullified to a large degree, which aided our efforts.

    WTG WILDCATS !

  10. notv Says:

    3) Nerlens blocked it from being entered. That’s the 12th block.

  11. mudcreekmark Says:

    8) I’ve been pretty hard on Goodwin so I’ll give him some credit tonight, he didn’t force near as many shots as he has been but of course the way the refs were calling the game was perfect for his style of play.

  12. williamtitan Says:

    i like how this says 12 blocks for noel but espn says nerlens has 11. this happens every game. so who can i trust? lol

  13. Syrin Says:

    By the way, they did a GREAT job on Mr. Postal. This team’s D is getting better by the game as well.

  14. Rae Says:

    4. Hard to rebound when you’re blocking everything and the shots don’t go up in the first place.

  15. Depoy car Says:

    Don’t forget Polson playing quality minutes tonight.

  16. Wall2Cousins Says:

    Ryan Horrow hit that 3 pointer was HUGE…..gave momentum back to UK.

  17. BigCatsFan Says:

    The OFFICIAL box score gives Noel 12 blocks. ESPN is anything but official.

  18. dontfeedtrolls Says:

    Clearly, the terrific trio of Wiltjer, Polson, and Hood are why we won.

  19. Julius Says:

    How does a team outshoot another team by THIRTY and lose?

  20. EC Says:

    Archie had four assists too. Bet my paycheck that’s a career high for him.

  21. TheProfessor Says:

    Been saying it all week….Henderson is overrated…it showed tonight…5-19 (2-11 from three)

  22. Big Vic Says:

    Never seen someone dominate a game like Noel tonight. It was unreal. Then you look at the stat sheet and he only had two points, no field goals. It was unbelievable. What an awesome performance.

  23. EC Says:

    11) Criticism isn’t hating. Harassing the guy on his Twitter account is.

  24. Helmet Guy Says:

    I think Noel is the key to the whole thing. If we are in trouble, just give him the ball at half-court and just back him down. Florida will be tough but we will win by 18 points.

  25. lexslamman Says:

    19.

    NER-LENS NO-EL.

  26. Dear UL and IU fans, We are national champions; you are not. The end. Says:

    Let’s not nitpick anything on this game. All the guys played like they wanted to win, and they got the win. Proud of em’.

  27. Chi-town Manny Says:

    Those 8 minutes hoody played were huge!

  28. Real talk Says:

    Henderson went 5-20 he’s hot garbage

  29. duckeastwood Says:

    @20….gimme your paycheck fool.

  30. EC Says:

    Great team win. Even Hood gave us solid minutes. When WCS comes back, we’ll be ready to take on all comers.

  31. asdf Says:

    The official numbers give Noel a block that was actually Wiltjer’s.

  32. ESPN boxscore Says:

    did you get caught?

  33. BtownCat Says:

    Now that’s the Archie Goodwin we need! Great job young man. Team basketball by everyone. Didn’t get rattled when they put up the 16-0 run and answered it. Really proud of our team tonight.

  34. ESPN boxscore Says:

    you people need to give it up about Hood playing…the kid is garbage. He only played cause everyone had like 4 fouls before halftime.

  35. Syrin Says:

    EC – Archie had a game earlier this year where he had 9 assists, then Cal named him our PG. Remember?

  36. theSkinny81 Says:

    Good win, and they seemed to have a fun time doing it.

  37. Syrin Says:

    By the way, POLSON was HUGE in the first half. Him and Hood. I guess practicing against NBA players day in and day out will make you good. We didn’t lose a beat when they were forced into action. In fact, I think Polson had a better game than Harrow or Mays.

  38. Wall2Cousins Says:

    anyone see that field goal attemtps??? WTF????

    Miss had 85 attemtps
    UK had 56 attemtps

    ~~~thats insane~~~
  39. Catfan68 Says:
    Where’s UK Freshmen tonight? I thought that d-bag would have some insightful comments to make about our team and Cal.
  40. theSkinny81 Says:
    39 – He’s busy jamming another Ricky P bobblehead up his a$$. To ease the pain.
  41. In Cal We Trust Says:
    Cal has says that he tells the UK team that they should be used to the big game evironment, because every game they play is like that, while the other team is more likely to be spooked by it. I think that Ole Miss showed that they are not used to the big game environment, even if it it at home.
  42. In Cal We Trust Says:
    for #41 ^^^even if it is at home
  43. Han Says:
    Harrow and Noel combined for 13 blocks.
  44. mashburnfan1 Says:
    43} Me and Noel combined for 12
  45. Maxbps8 Says:
    Finally! Worries me about the REBOUNDS b/c that is a critical factor in any game but…this is their turning-point-game. And w/o Big Willie. Someone check me on this, the stats show K Wil as going: 10 of 19 = 20pts; 5 of 12 = 15pts; and 1 of 2 = 1 pt…for a TOTAL of 36. Where am I (or the stats) wrong?
    And I didn’t get to see the game, I’ve heard nothing…not one word about Harrow; which can be a really, really good thing for a PG. How’d he play from a game-mgt perspective? Is he seeing the KentuckY-Blue Light at the end of the tunnel?
  46. slimflannery Says:
    ^^^Realize that Wiltjer went 10-19 overall from the field, meaning he hit 5 of 12 three pointers and 5 of 7 2 point shots and a free throw….hence the 26 points. He had a great game and I loved seeing the team getting him the ball. The dunk was sweet as well. A big win for the CATS but they have to build on this one.
