If I was coaching a team who won a game on such a petty technicality as a 6th player having his foot on the court when the ball was in play, I would go to the officials and tell them, NO – no way you award us this game on such a bullsh-t call. They won it fair and square

(1 The play was reviewed. Cats were perfectly within the rules. By a millisecond. This team is too talented not to figure out how they need to play as a team and win. They will figure the urgency of the situation and just win, even if it’s against Duke in the tourney if we make it. These guys may squeak by Vandy, but against a big name they hung in there to the end. They will have to come together themselves though. This seems to be one bunch Coach Cal can’t connect with. At least 4 of them are future NBA’ers. Doesn’t look like it now but they will grow. They all seem like good kids to me and just weren’t prepared for the biggest stage in college basketball. I’ll cut em some slack. Not much longer though. Time is running out and NIT doesn’t inspire me. A 2nd round loss in the Big Dance is more respectable than going to the losers tourney. It is what it is this year, but I still like this team.
