Kentucky and North Carolina have agreed to a two-year home-and-home series beginning next season in Chapel Hill. The renewal of the series was expected after the two programs agreed to hold off this season to flip the year each school hosts the annual game.

So cal will play at chapel hill but not assembly hall? Sure would have been nice to have that iu game at home this year to boost th tournament resume
January 28th, 2013 at 10:15 am
In the grand scheme of things, it was best that they did not play this year. With both teams down, it would have been insignificant. I would rather watch both play when both are strong. I think Cal knew this would be a down year for the cats, which is why they have a weaker than usual schedule and did not schedule IU or UNC.
January 28th, 2013 at 10:16 am
guess they didnt want to be left out by the Cards playing UNC every year in the ACC.
January 28th, 2013 at 10:17 am
Cal didn’t schedule IU because he didnt want his 50 something home win streak to end on a 30 pt blowout to a rival

Another photo that will NEVER get old.

Hi, I’m a Tard Troll and I love to post on KSR. SEC! SEC! SEC!
January 28th, 2013 at 10:22 am
3 We had already planned on renewing the series. Cal told us when they didn’t renew it for this year that they were waiting a year to change the order of being in NC and KY. Just keep following big bro’s lead, little bro. When the ACC falls apart in a couple of years you’ll be looking for a new home. Louisville is a little foster kid that no one wants to keep permanently.
January 28th, 2013 at 10:25 am
3 – I’m looking forward to watching UNC and Duke blast UofL every year. Hell, NC State too, for that matter.

7. UK is like the iowa state of the Big 12, or Northwestern in the Big 10. Only will remain in their league due to tradition and precedence, not because they have a good athletic department. Also you are delusional if you think that UK would be .500 in football in the ACC. But at least defending that most wins all-time is nice and easy in the SEC
January 28th, 2013 at 10:27 am
I knew that picture was the one that was going to get used when I read the title.
Sigh…I miss MKG and Davis
January 28th, 2013 at 10:28 am
9 that’s just like a Tard…change the conversation to football when we are talking about basketball. That’s what you have to do when big bro OWNS you. Where you alive the last time UofLol won a NC?
January 28th, 2013 at 10:29 am
*were
January 28th, 2013 at 10:31 am
You are the one who changed the convo to conferences douchebag, to which I said UK would suck dick in the ACC in football (or any conference…sunbelt anyone?) and the SEC is weak sauce in basketball so keep enjoying that great competition.
January 28th, 2013 at 10:31 am
I’m too stupid to talk smack on here, I should go back to Card Chronicle. I mix football statements with basketball statements and fail to make a valid point. I am delusional, but that’s a requirement for being a Tard.
January 28th, 2013 at 10:33 am
13 I said your conference will fall apart, then you started talking about football, douche noggin. My whole post was about basketball, but again, you can’t talk trash about basketball. Is your butt still hurting from those 3 losses in a row?
January 28th, 2013 at 10:36 am
is your butt till hurting from losing this year? or are you too nervous about making the tournament? At least UK is “back”, maybe this year is proving Cal’s system is a fluke and he could only do any good with some leftover upperclassmen. 1st roster with only players he recruited logging minutes = no tourney. He not at memphis anymore where a bunch of aau ballhogs can outplay a bunch of conf-usa bums
January 28th, 2013 at 10:38 am
Man, last years team had nothing but destiny written all over them.
January 28th, 2013 at 10:39 am
13 – Be careful what you say, little bro – you may be suckin’ d**k in the ACC, too. You all haven’t played one game yet, and you already think you’re the regular season champs. Delusional.
January 28th, 2013 at 10:40 am
Nope, my butt isn’t hurting from losing this year. My butt is still enjoying last year’s National Championship. I’ll take beating you all every 4 games to you beating us once. Enjoy your year, we’ll enjoy the next 4. But I won’t be enjoying it on a Card website, because I don’t need Louisville fans’ validation. What can I say to you to make you feel better about your Cards so you will be able to move on with your life? You are having a better year (so far, though that seems to be changing) in basketball and you had a better year in football than us. There, does that help, lil bro?
January 28th, 2013 at 10:43 am
16 – I also like when ESPN/CBS promos, announcers, etc refers to us as Defending National Champions. See, that means we won the title last year. Our 8th. Are you old enough to remember your last title? I’m guessing no.
January 28th, 2013 at 10:43 am
@16…. 8 Championships.. 1986 was a long time ago… haha
January 28th, 2013 at 10:48 am
21 – Right? I’ll be 32 this March, and in ’86 I was more into Thundercats and Voltron. FIVE YEARS OLD.
January 28th, 2013 at 10:49 am
20 like I said, Cal’s system is a fluke and last year was a fluke. Pitino’s system is much better than Cal’s. Instead of fluke championships at UK he, Pitino wins zero championships at UofL. Now that’s a system I respect. L yeah!
January 28th, 2013 at 10:51 am
23 – 12 years and counting! That’s no fluke. lol
January 28th, 2013 at 11:12 am
10, me too.
BTW, you UK fans, I’ve said this before: if you just ignore the UL trolls they’ll stop coming here.
January 28th, 2013 at 11:27 am
Mich ST. @UNC, @Baylor and UL shaping up to be a great schedule next year. Go Cats!
January 28th, 2013 at 11:54 am
Why are iu fans obsessed with uk? They’ve had one good yr in 3 decades. Besides word is uk is also picking a series up w duke or Kansas….sounds like better games to me. I mean uk has as many elite 8′s as iu has tourney appearances…they aren’t on our level, only to them is one win important
January 28th, 2013 at 12:26 pm
I am applying to law school at UNC (they have a media law and policy center and I really want to take Swahili.) This is brilliant news for me.
January 28th, 2013 at 6:25 pm
I guess he is just thinking about his players ,classless teams rush the court for a regular season win .Act like you have been there before IU. Carolina has more tradition anyway.
