  1. Moonpie Says:

This team needs all the help it can get. Stoops is going after anyone who will listen. At least he is trying.

  2. Mike Says:

Miami would have killed us tonight. Was the 2nd half last night the worse coaching job Cal has done at UK? If not, it had to be close.

  3. taj williams Says:

don’t you dare forget my name!!! you’ll be hearing a lot of it the next 4 years!!!
    -shyuh boi, taj williams

  4. Old Henry Man Says:

Thanks for the article. I am looking forward to signing day and then the season

  5. $EC Says:

It is so adorable watching you guys talk about football recruiting.

  6. Jones Says:

You slipping Drew, DE Antoine Miles committed to Purdue this past week

  7. UK Freshmen Says:

Three stars will get you no where. Fast.

  8. Coach Hurtt Says:

You need to remove Hatcher from your list. Now that I have been cleared, Hatcher is a Card.

  9. BigBlue Says:

About half of the NFL 1st round picks each year went into college as 3 stars.

  10. Bradley Says:

    8. He’s far from cleared. And it’s not like the guy can even coach. He’s nothing more than the bag man.

  11. Deacon Says:

Looking at your list of returning players, it looks like 65 scholarship players returning. Can only have 85 total on scholarship. If we sign 25, which returning players do not return?

  12. Drew Says:

    8. He’s not cleared!!!! the investigation is put on hold dipsh*t!!!!!!!!!! So if you think your in the clear you better think again.. Once the NCAA tries to fix their f*ck ups (which will take 2 weeks!!!!! Signing Day) they will get back to investigating your crooked ass!!!!! So have a great couple of weeks!!!!!!!!

  13. g-unit Says:

Funny… This post looks directly like 2 posts I have put in comment sections with added pictures…. You are welcome Mr. Franklin…. Oh and BTW, Miles committed to Purdue and Taj Williams is no longer making the trip….

  14. Drew Says:

    13. So do you think we are putting all our chips in for samples and Badet??? Or is there another receiver that we are looking at??? I know there is timmons but he is OSU bound probably.

  15. BigBlueBallz Says:

@ 13, you’ve been killin the recruiting updates. From what I understand Woulard will end up at Clemson, Aregeros Turner will not be academically eligible and will likely go JUCO route, we will get at least 1 4* DB (likely McWilson) and Badet has already gave the nod.

  16. Patrick Says:

#11 Those 65 players are not all on scholarship. So we have room to add some decent players. Some of those are practice squad and such.

  17. JBR Says:

Yes, g-unit, you have done a great job…keep us updated in these posts.

  18. g-unit Says:

    14-15

I think we have Badet. Staff thinks they have a great shot at landing 2 or 3 out of Samples, Williams, Timmons, Montgomery or else they would not have left a good prospect in Yancey go… Hatcher is a real possibility and Hearns is highly likely as well as mcwilson…woulard is I think gone but who knows… Godwin I think we land as well…. But I will say this… The guy to watch for in the future is Regie Meant… Will be a Stud…. Hearing he is all of 6’6 285… He power cleaned 310 his senior year which is insane and has been clocked running a 4.9-40. Dude doesn’t know what an inside move, spin move, swim move or anything is…. Been playing football for a little over a year seriously…. He said his coach just told him to get the football and that’s what he did lol…. will be Kentucky’s version of Bjorn Werner… Can play DE or DT…. A freak of an athlete!

  19. Trolling&IKnowIt Says:

I see yall got Jason Hatcher on here… That’s a good laugh, so is UK football

  20. Bluecat Says:

Troll#19, Hatcher & Timmons, are only two of the boots that are going to be stuck deep up your red/ass come
Sept 18th, as STOOPS TROOPS wipe your
ass up in Commonwealth 28-24!. Neal
Brown’s Air Raid is gonna make lil’
    bro sooooooooooooooo saaaaaadddddddd!

  21. Coach Hurtt Says:

Taj Williams is down to Auburn and uofl. So, check your facts. He is visiting here this weekend and we will get a verbal. Stick to recruits you have a shot at.

  22. Drew Says:

    21. Hope you aren’t recruiting them. UL has no shot if you are.

  23. Drew Says:

    18. Thanks

  24. CATS Says:

As I’ve said before looking at the other schools recruiting these kids is a better reflection of talent then the amount of stars by there name. Looks as though we are now recruiting kids that other SEC schools want.
    20) Im as big a UK fan as anyone but if you think we have a chance against UL next year your in a dream world!!!! Joker has this program in such shape it will take years to get back to where Brooks had us. Don’t feed the trolls because the truth is they have the upper hand right now!

  25. yup Says:

Woulard’s dad announced yesterday his son’s final two are UCLA and Clemson. BTW, G-Unit, don’t break your arm from patted yourself on the back so hard. KSR may take most of what you post here in the comments, but the same could be said about you taking the info from Rivals, 24/7, and BBK. You’re not doing original reporting either, my man.

  26. 10011010101010 Says:

Hatcher is NOT coming to Kentucky!

His mom is a Louisville Fan… just go and read Hatcher’s twitter account from December 29th.

  27. Rob Bromley's Hair Says:

Reese Phillips is signed and enrolled also, FYI.

  28. G-Unit Says:

25 – I’m not doing original reporting? HAHAHA! I’ve seen many of these guys play… I call people that are in the know with these kids, have multiple people close to UK Football I talk to as well as many rivals evaluators… I work my ass off to do my own work to make sure I’m not copying what other people say. Is my information sometimes similar to someone like Justin Rowland or Ryan Abraham or Gerard Martinez? Yes, because we talk to the people who actually know, not because I go to someone elses site and copy and paste which it appears is the only thing many writers on this site do when it comes to football…

  29. yup Says:

G-Unit, if you do reporting and “work your ass off” why the hell are you lurking in KSR comment sections? If you have all that access you should start a blog.

  30. Terry Says:

for those who are stuck on the 3star 4star 5star bias I have some info I’d like to share…

    johnny mannziel-***
    jj watt-**
    Arian foster-***
    Doug martin-**
    randall cobb-***
    patrick willis-***

All of them are studs and i rly dnt think they need an introduction. stop trying to troll with the star b\s you make yourselves look ignorant.

  31. Beth Says:

This is good info. Would it be possible to indicate the commitments that Joker recruited (vs. Stoops) and indicate the stars on returning players.

  32. UK fan #5 Says:

For everyone that thinks Timmons is going to OSU, maybe not. Word in the street is they only offered him a grey shirt which he apparently isn’t interested in.

  33. CATS Says:

    30) you are correct in saying that football recruiting is a lot harder to grade players then basketball. That said look at where the 4 and 5 star players are going and how those teams are doing. Alabama, USC, Flordia, etc. yes the players you said where ranked low but that is the exception not the norm. The best way to rank UK recruits is by the other schools recruiting them. If no other SEC school is recruiting them there probably is a reason.
I have no problem taken a chance on 2 or 3 kids in each class and try to get a Cobb or a unpolished diamond in the rough. I do have a problem with recruiting like Joker and trying to make a class out of 3 stars.

  34. CATS Says:

    31) that’s easy the 2 stars are Jokers and the ones being recruited bye MAC schools are Jokers as well.

  35. Terry Says:

my point is that a lot of the kids we are going after are solid recruits regardless of how many stars they have by their names. most are also being recruited by top schools. my post was directed to the loserville trolls along with whoever else might be coming to our site to talk trash.

  36. bluristhurr Says:

I like the idea of getting info from other sites like rivals, scouts, and especially TBK.com others pay for. Why would anybody have a problem with getting something free? From the mouth of Paul Ryan “Are you a taker or a maker”?

  37. bluristhurr Says:

  38. Tampa Satchel Says:

    @30-Randall Cobb was a 2 star. http://kentucky.scout.com/a.z?s=48&p=8&c=1&nid=3165710

  39. TheTruthLies Says:

@38 a 2 star qb/ath they never seen what he could do at wideout. Plus scout sucks.
