The greatest dynasty at the University of Kentucky is the cheerleading team which has basically dominated every contest for over two decades. However every once and a while the king its dethroned, no matter how temporary. Well that happened tonight as the Cheer team came up just short of capturing championship number 20 as they finished in second place. The Memphis Tigers took first place in the National Cheerleading Championship.
#20 will have to wait just one more year.

They are amazing. Saw them perform their routine at the UK-UT game last week. There was a little bit of unsteadiness on one particular stunt but the degree of difficulty was very high.
Oh well, we’ll be back next year. Great job!
