And we can’t forget about the Christmas lighting… Just when you thought Indiana had run out of ways to commemorate and celebrate the buzzer beater win against Kentucky in the regular season , they once again proved that they’ve still been thinking about that game a lot. A whole lot. This time Indiana used the cover of the Yellow Pages to pay tribute to the win. Indiana’s obsession with this win is the gift that just keeps on giving…

Seriously, I really dont understand. This is sad. Maybe if they weren’t one of the best college basketball programs of all time, id understand the storming the court. That is not the case. Then you have all these things commemorating a regular season win. This would be like us doing the same for our football wins over LSU, Tenn, or Alabama. Also, Indiana beat us in the Sampson era, that wasn’t THAT long ago. Seriously, I don’t understand

Unbelievable. Jealousy is one thing but when it eats at ya like this and makes you look so little-league, it’s apparent you have no significance and behind such programs as Butler, Gonzaga, Notre Dame, etc…

Actually # 5′s comparison is a bad one. It would be better compared to UK basketball celebrating last year’s win over UNC on the AD block at the end…because UK football has always been bad we would have every right to celebrate the win over # 1 LSU… much more than IU (and their multiple NCs)celebrating a regular season win at home. It’s just sad.

As a matter of fact IU’s win over UK reminds me of Manti Te’o's girlfriend. A tragic story at the time but later revealed to be a ruse.

Going to have to even disagree with you there #15. By the time Anthony Davis stepped on the court we already had come back from an Elite Eight/Final Four… Better comparison would be when Cal’s first year when we beat UNC.

Obviously people like #7 suffer from poor reading comprehension, so let me explain it to you, 7 & 12: No one is upset over our team losing the meaningless game. KSR is making fun of their constant commemoration of that meaningless regular season game. UK fans don’t care that we lost that game, and even if we did, the wins in the tourney over IU and that little National Title MORE THAN made up for it. Indiana continues to celebrate a regular season, one-point, meaningless game in their home gym over our team and that is worthy of the ridicule that is thrust upon them. It is not comparable to this site (a blog) continuing to remember AD’s block to seal the win over UNC… we don’t have t-shirts, phone books, and constant other souvenirs to celebrate that. Just a blog that makes mention of it every now and then. It is NOT comparable to UK Football’s regular season win over UT two seasons ago. That win ended a 26-year losing streak, so the celebration was deserved. Nonetheless, we did not continue to commemorate that victory OVER A YEAR LATER. So, to in conclusion, the mention of IU’s silly continued celebration of that one game is not because UK fans are upset over the loss, but rather deserved ridicule over IU’s belief that their program is validated by that regular season win. Get it?

I knew last year that if IU won that regular season game they
would be even more obnoxious than ever and would milk it in
all their doing-it-the-right-way glory.
Crean is so hard-up for attention that he even hyped
the early season win over unranked G-town as a
“championship win for our program” in post-game interviews.

It would really suck to be a Hoosier. I’ll have to remember to thank my parents for bringing me up in Kentucky. LOL, Hoosiers will be ripping of the cover and putting it in some cheap frame to display prominently on the walls of their double-wide.
