After one of Kentucky’s best performances this season, Cal is ready to savor the moment–for at least one night:
“Right now we’re just trying to enjoy this one and understand what we did today. We made strides. Wins and loses–okay. In ten years, these guys will be defined by how much effort, how much fight, how much competitive spirit they have.”
The Cats shot 54.5 percent for the game and held Auburn to 37.5 percent from the floor, including an 0-15 shutout from behind the arc. It’s the first time since 1997 that Auburn hasn’t made a three in a game, and only the third time in the program’s history.

Sorry we didn’t lose to them for you douche bag phukc tard. Meanwhile, lets dabble a bit in reality. This team held the 2nd best 3 point shooting team in the conference to NO made threes breaking a 15 year streak. This team has been shaky at best on the road and put a beat down on them. This team has not had the killer instinct to put teams away in the 2nd half and they did so. This team has had a tendency to degenerate into individual play, and this game they distributed the ball and took QUALITY shots. This team was favored to win by 8 but won by 22. This team played a player short on the inside AND had their best interior player on the bench with foul trouble but stayed composed and took a lead.
