Finally showed an ability to want to put a team away after a very customary, sluggish start. Maybe, just maybe Wiltjer showing he might want to take on a leadership position with this time showcasing a 2nd straight good game. Poythress still an enigma and needs to get more than 3 FG’s with his talent level. Archie had a very good game as well…very nice win!!

16, hell I’m not sure it will work next game if he’s still out. But right now, it’s “there”. As was Camp Cal, 2-a-day pracs, individual workouts, etc… It’s another step that they have which can afford them the opportunity to get rolling. But again, it’s up to them to learn and then maintain. We will see. Bottom-line…they can’t be taught or given anything else, it’s all up to them.

ESPN was playing up how great the day was going to be. Then they had blowouts by UNC and Florida. Finally got their quality game with Butler/Gonzaga. Had some pretty wicked highlights from Noel in our game, too.
