Auburn has managed to sell out their arena in anticipation for tonight’s game against Kentucky. John Calipari warned that it would be Auburn’s Super Bowl, Bat Night, etc. But did he mention cheer sheets? Here’s a look at Auburn’s “cheer sheet” for tonight’s game. Thanks to KSR reader Cooper Headley for providing us with the inside scoop.
On the sheet, they compare Kentucky to Alabama football by saying “because you’re most likely to find their most recent trophies at the local Wal-mart, and about 0.2% of their fans actually went to the school.” I must have missed the national championship trophy the last time that I was at Wal-mart. But I do recall seeing a good portion of the national championship floor in the new state-of-the-art, sparkling locker room.

Ignorance is THIS^^^
January 19th, 2013 at 7:25 pm
Pretty sure the entire city of Auburn, Alabama has a total IQ of 17. I wouldn’t be throwing around intelligence jokes if I were them.
January 19th, 2013 at 7:27 pm
Does anyone know of an online link to watch tonight’s game besides thefirstrow.eu, There are too many popups on there to use for my TV. Any help would be appreciated.
January 19th, 2013 at 7:27 pm
Whoever wrote that probably believes 0.2% is actually two percent.
January 19th, 2013 at 7:32 pm
Alabama’s football team displayed their national championship trophy at local Walmarts around the state…they’re trying to slam both KY & Bama. Whatever, Auburn is Alabamas little brother…sound familiar?
January 19th, 2013 at 7:32 pm
But they’re still about dead on with the percentage.
January 19th, 2013 at 7:33 pm
I know three people who went to Auburn for grad school. Two were severely depressed by the town and the atmosphere and simply could not wait to leave. Just saying.
January 19th, 2013 at 7:40 pm
How is this a “cheer sheet”? Are they planning on reciting that in unison?
January 19th, 2013 at 7:42 pm
how is this any different that the “know your enemy” post KSR does before every game?
January 19th, 2013 at 7:42 pm
About .000002% of Auburn grads cheer or care for their basketball team.
January 19th, 2013 at 7:42 pm
lol love how they put Noel in there, Cam Newton says hi
January 19th, 2013 at 7:46 pm
Where did Cam Newton play???? I’d leave ethics out if I was Auburn
January 19th, 2013 at 7:46 pm
A couple UK girls will be wearing blue in the Auburn student section!
January 19th, 2013 at 7:50 pm

January 19th, 2013 at 7:50 pm
6) that would every fanbase in the country….
January 19th, 2013 at 7:51 pm
how many national championships do these auburn clowns have thats right 0 and thats all they will ever have
January 19th, 2013 at 7:52 pm
Not only Cam Newton, but didnt Auburn once meet with Bobby Petrino in secret about a head coaching job that wasn’t vacant?
January 19th, 2013 at 7:54 pm
Is that true about Frankie Sullivan, I haven’t seen the actual numbers but that seems a little exaggerated
January 19th, 2013 at 7:57 pm
Jason – Thank you!
January 19th, 2013 at 7:57 pm
What’s wrong with the sheet? Sure their numbers are off a bit. It’s more like 20% of their fans have been to school. Have you all been to Eastern Kentucky? Then you know that’s for real.
January 19th, 2013 at 8:00 pm
(Different one than above)
They do bring up a good point. Noel does have hair like Gerald from Hey Arnold. I don’t understand the problem with that, Gerald was cool.
January 19th, 2013 at 8:00 pm
I wish that all the people in Eastern Kentucky rooted for West Virginia or something. Those hillbillies give our program and the whole state a bad name. Can you imagine how nice Kentucky would be without all of our tax money going down into that god forsaken place.
January 19th, 2013 at 8:02 pm
Auburn=State of Alabama’s UofL.
January 19th, 2013 at 8:02 pm
WOAH! They have so much dirt on UK! HOW DID THEY FIND OUT JULIUS MAYS TRANSFERRED?!?!? Secret is out guys, it was a good run.
THIS is the dirt they came up with? Auburn is sad.
January 19th, 2013 at 8:03 pm
JoshCarrier try Atdhe.net its good
January 19th, 2013 at 8:03 pm
22. Yes! Eastern Kentucky is a leech on the rest of the State. Heck they are leeches on society in general. The make the whole country a worse place. Maybe we could sell the dump of a region to China or something.
January 19th, 2013 at 8:04 pm
@3, I’m pretty sure the game is on espn3. Go to watchespn.com and you should be able to watch it there with no problems.
January 19th, 2013 at 8:05 pm
Jonathan why don’t you leave the state & go root for another team. You sound like you sniff your own farts, snotty prick!
January 19th, 2013 at 8:07 pm
Eff you too king blue!
January 19th, 2013 at 8:10 pm
29. Joe you must be a hillbilly. Did your monthly check run out already? I think I hear your sister calling you.
January 19th, 2013 at 8:11 pm
Is it true that most people from the mountains only school to the 8th grade?
January 19th, 2013 at 8:13 pm
I love it when the local news has to put subtitles on the screen when they talk to someone from Eastern Kentucky. I just shake my head. Our wonderful welfare dollars at work.
January 19th, 2013 at 8:17 pm
Hey! I travel to the mountain counties all the time. I will tell you that every stereotype that you hear about those places are absolutely true! I’ve been to a few third world countries that are better off than some of the towns in the mountains.
January 19th, 2013 at 8:24 pm
Anyone has a link for the game?
January 19th, 2013 at 8:27 pm
We lived in Alabama for several years, and we have many Auburn fan friends. Auburn fans are mostly great people, but many of them do mock Alabama for having fans who never attended the school. Looks like they feel the same way about Kentucky. It’s pretty rich given that trailor parks are the preferred off-campus student housing at Auburn (no joke).
January 19th, 2013 at 8:29 pm
Why don’t you guys come to eastern Kentucky for a day or two. Hell stay at my place. Your ignorance of the mountain region is absolutely laughable. Are there poor folks? Absolutely. Do we care? Absolutely not. Money isn’t everything.
January 19th, 2013 at 8:32 pm
36. You got extra room in that trailer for 2 people?
January 19th, 2013 at 8:34 pm

January 19th, 2013 at 8:40 pm
#38 you might be a redneck if u use a sports forum to proclaim how much $$ yore hubby makes. Meth dealers don’t count
January 19th, 2013 at 8:42 pm
Say all of this to Oscar Combs, Tim Couch or John Pelphrey all of which came from Eastern Kentucky
January 19th, 2013 at 8:42 pm
38. Mary, I heard there was good money in making Meth. I didn’t know it was that good.
January 19th, 2013 at 8:44 pm

January 19th, 2013 at 8:59 pm
What will it take for the regular UK fans to get you folks from Eastern Kentucky to root for Tennesse?
January 19th, 2013 at 9:00 pm
#45 no, not mad. Just amused by white trash that just can’t wait to tell anyone who would listen how much $ they make, or daddy makes, or hubby makes. U stay in the double wide and make pies all day while hubby cooks the meth? Money don’t make ya honey. Sarah palin said it best….put lipstick on a pig and its still a pig
January 19th, 2013 at 9:00 pm
We should cut the moonshine flow off!!! Last time I was in Lexington for a game all of the classy rich folks from Lexington was at the moonshine lodge begging for a good ole pike county slushie!!!!
January 19th, 2013 at 9:01 pm
24, they forgot to mention that Mays GRADUATED from Wright State…. then again, I doubt they understand that concept.
January 19th, 2013 at 9:04 pm
What would it take for Eastern Kentucky fans to get you Big City thing your better Pricks to cheer for Louisville!! You would fit in good!!!! They make fun of God’s people just like you are!!!!
January 19th, 2013 at 9:05 pm
52. I don’t like it, period. I’m not alone. The rest of the state secretly wishes you all didn’t exist, but you do, and because of that you embarrass us all and the program included. Look at the Auburn sheet above. It’s because of you freaking hillbillies that we get that reputation. JUST GO AWAY. WE DON’T WANT YOU.
January 19th, 2013 at 9:07 pm
57. Huh? Can you type that again, but in English this time?
January 19th, 2013 at 9:07 pm
@54 if i put lipstick on u, are u still an asshole?
January 19th, 2013 at 9:11 pm
#54 if you feel money don’t make you then why are you bitching saying Eastern Ky people are taking all of your tax money!!!! I work and pay taxes too!!!!
January 19th, 2013 at 9:35 pm
#60 ooh cue dueling banjos. I don’t care where u put lipstick, but sorry, I’m not interested in ur gay advances
January 19th, 2013 at 9:39 pm
61 actually, I’m not the same guy giving u shit under 10 different names and I couldn’t care less if u live in eastern ky or Istanbul, no one cares how much hubby makes. If u gotta tell everybody then u don’t come from it. P/ out
January 19th, 2013 at 9:47 pm
#63 if you don’t care why have you been so rude and said such negative things when you actually know nothing about me or my roots!!! I was only saying how much it made to let those people making fun know that people that live on eastern ky make good money and pay taxes like everyone else! Just because their is a few bad apples on the tree does not make the whole tree bad! Not everyone here is like that! I also do not sell or make meth!!!
January 19th, 2013 at 9:59 pm

January 19th, 2013 at 11:26 pm
Sheesh some of you guys are getting bad at spotting trolls…
January 20th, 2013 at 12:24 am
You wanna talk about Mary using this site to discuss her husband’s income well what about you jackass’s getting on a sports forum called KENTUCKY sports radio, to bash your state. the website is not called central kentucky sports forum, or western kentucky sports forum. The word KENTUCKY covers from Paducah to Pike county the whole state is beautiful, and all towns and counties have they’re bad places idc where you are. Whether your in ky or ny all places have there good and bad spots. I could take you to some pretty trashy areas in lex. By the way cal is a huge supporter of Eastern ky and there coal market he was at my brothers coal mine not long ago, stating that his grandfather was a coal miner. Also kentucky athletics biggest financial support is eastern ky. Joe craft sound familiar ya ever heard of the craft center, and all his money comes from the beautiful mountains of eastern ky he owns coal mines that’s how he gets all his money to support ky athletics. All I’m saying is stop dissing your own state were all ky fans BBN to me has no segregation no Matter where you live! I live in Oklahoma born and raised in Danville ky and I’m proud of my home state from the west tip to the very eastern half. When it all comes down to it when the balls being tossed up for tip off were all cheering for the cats. So why don’t we all be proud of our team and love all fans matter where they live!
January 20th, 2013 at 12:31 am
Oh yea and who came up with the rule you have to go to a school before you can become a fan of it? I guess that means Drake and lebron are no longer aloud to be UK fans.
January 20th, 2013 at 12:47 am
71, thank you. Come on people, true BBN fans wouldn’t turn this thread into a cannibal fest. Don’t let somebody with a neck tattoo come on here in disquise and get our fans to start bashing on each other. They have to fake being true blue because they’re too embarrassed to come on here and own the fact that they’re just frustrated because they can only hold the number one ranking in the nation during regular season for a grand total of one week in their program history. That’s one week in their entire history. Wow, didn’t even get a chance to wash their new shirts. Poor little fellas. Cut em some slack.
January 20th, 2013 at 12:49 pm
In the 60′s Eastern KY’s poverty was featured in the national news. These poverty lines were blurred by Frankfort to include Central Ky so most of the federal money never made it to its intended target. Also, a percentage of the coal severance tax was supposed to be sent back to its origins in eastern KY but has been stolen as well by Frankfort to pay for projects in Louisville and Lexington and state buget shortfalls. Eastern Ky was the economic center of the state in the early 1900′s and they have been raped of their mineral rights, federal aid and coal tax for the better part of the last 100 years! More importantly, KY mined more coal during WW2 than all the all states combined. Coal is a key ingredient used in the production of steel which fueled this country to victory over the Axis of Evil. All you Eastern KY bashers should drive down I75 south and drop to you knees and kiss the a$$e$ of the miners who are one of the main reasons you are not speaking German and Japanese right now!
