[Moderated by Matt Jones, Drew Franklin and Tyler Thompson]

Want to see Kentucky’s newest commitment in action but can’t afford a trip to Florida? The CBS Sports Network has your back. Dakari Johnson and his Montverde Academy will be playing on television tonight on the CBS Sports Network at 10:30 ET. That’s channel 968 on your Insight cable boxes.
I can’t think of a better way to spend a Friday evening than watching Johnson take on the Fightin’ Whatever-They-Ares from Nixa, Missouri.
Go future Cats.

Nixa Eagles! Tourney of Champs has hosted a TON of former Cats and other college, NBA players (John Wall, DeMarcus, Hansbrough, Singler, etc). It goes under the radar because it’s in the middle of nowhere but still a good tournament for Cat fans that lived in Missouri.

Am I the only one who thinks this kid looks terrible. He’s slower than smoke off a dog turd. He has terribly heavy feet and he cannot jump over a phone book.

Not good at all. Whoever rates these kids are idiots. This Williams kid looks like he can run circles around dakari. I agree #10, slow, heavy feet, can’t shoot, can’t defend, can’t jump….how did he get his ranking….not excited

I’m hoping this is just a bad game or something. Not another WCS. Sorry. But come on man.

Dakari is a center like ones from the past. He actually has a nice shot from 12 feet out as well as good back to basket offensive ability. He can jump but is not a quick jumper so it makes him look less athletic. Will not be the shot blocker like AD or Noel but a solid big guy and he is strong. He is playing top teams and players now so will be more prepared.
