I doubt we get this guy.
January 16th, 2013 at 3:19 pm
If his parents really want him to go to FSU he’s gonna be tough to sway.

Alex Poythress isn’t just screwing up this years basketball season he’s screwing up next season too. He’s completely blowing our chances of landing the best high school basketball player since LeBron James. Andrew Wiggins may consider sharing a few minutes with Julius Randle, James Young and Aaron Harrison but he sure as hell isn’t going to consider sharing minutes with those guys plus a one year experienced Alex Poythress and even possibly Goodwin.
Alex Poythress is the most overrated basketball player on planet earth. My blood boils every time i look at him. I wish he would just go away. Best case scenario, he transfers after this season. I swear if Wiggins and even possibly Randle don’t come here because it’s too crowded I’m going to blow a gasket. This guys need to get there s#it together and set sail so we can make room for the real basketball team that we COULD have coming in next year.

What is the HUGE news on the “House Of Blue” bbn?
January 16th, 2013 at 3:22 pm
Why beat up on a kid who is having a tough time #4?? He is what he is….a kid, nothing wrong with that. He’ll get it
January 16th, 2013 at 3:24 pm
4.) All those guys are going pro no matter the season they have. Its all about potential. Alex and Archie will be Top-20 picks this summer. Leave the 18 year old kids alone.

Whats going on over at House of Blue?
January 16th, 2013 at 3:27 pm
Well, #6, some guys never get it. I hope you’re correct. Either way, I believe Goodwin is the real problem with this team.
January 16th, 2013 at 3:28 pm
@ 4. It’s idiot fans like you that give the BBN a bad name. Please go play in traffic.

I’m staying. My first goal was to be a dud. My second is to stay and then sway better recurits towards other schools.

I like that video. Not just for Wiggins either. I like the style of it and wish most of the basketball video’s were similar.
With his friend at teammate saying that he is a quiet guy that doesn’t like the limelight and the strong FSU connection for both isn’t real encouraging. Hopefully Wiggins will see that getting prepared for that environment in the pros that UK is the best place to do that, among other good reasons.

#4…actually i think you’re spot on
January 16th, 2013 at 3:49 pm
@4…I agree. In reality Wiggins should never have to compete with Poythress for minutes. It’s a no-contest. Wiggins is hands down a better player. However, Cal has shown that he will continue to play Poythress despite his awfulness, so I’m not sure why Wiggins would think next year would be any different. If I’m the hands down #1 draft pick I definetly wouldn’t want to have to share minutes with someone like Poythress just because the coach refuses to bench him.

Lololol 4 & 13 have to be the same person
January 16th, 2013 at 3:50 pm
And 14. . What a bunch of morons
January 16th, 2013 at 3:51 pm
Cal has to play alex this year or the kid wont learn and who else would he give those chunk of min to? Wiggins will get clock no matter where he wants to go, you guys are dumb
January 16th, 2013 at 4:15 pm

#19 That would be Kenny Walker. Not a fair comparison though. Walker was the only freshman in 82-83 and had Bowie and Turpin on 83-84 team with senior leadership on both.

Didnt realized poythress averaged 25.9 rebounds a game… Maybe he’s not so bad after all
