In life sometimes you want something so bad you’d do anything to attain it. For the man above his goal was to join in on rushing the court with no regard to his safety or an escape route. For you I’m assuming you woke up wanting the Sunday morning links just as badly. Well lucky for you getting the links does not involve getting surrounded by hundreds of people with limited mobility, I gladly offer them up as a service to the citizens of Big Blue Nation:
-In case you feel the need to relive the game from yesterday you can with the AP’s recap of the game. Elston Turner etched his name in the Rupp Arena history books with a performance you just have to tip your hat to.
-There was nothing Kentucky could do to stop Turner as the Texas A&M guard had his way with three different defenders. Luckily at the start of the second half he didn’t get many looks or he could have easily went for 50.
-Texas A&M couldn’t really stop our man Nerlens either as the center flirted with a quadruple double when he finished with 15 points, 11 boards, 7 blocks, and 6 assists. Oh and 100% effort.
-It isn’t time to hit the panic button yet but Kentucky really can’t afford any more bad losses. Only Florida and Missouri offer a chance for a good win right now and perhaps Ole Miss will join that list as well. Either way out young team needs to figure things out fast.
-The news wasn’t all bad yesterday as Stoops managed to land yet another commit from Ohio. Kyle Meadows is an O-Lineman who choose the Cats over Louisville, WVU and Oklahoma. A very solid recruiting list win.
-While the Men’s team continues to try and figure things out the Women have been tearing it up all season long. Today the sixth ranked ladies pit their record 14 game winning streak against Missouri’s perfect home record. The irresistible force meets the immovable object today at 1:30 in Columbia.
