Rush the Court caught up with Aaron Gordon, the talented 2013 forward considering Kentucky, Arizona and Washington. Gordon, the number seven player in the 2013 class (ESPN), had nothing but good things to say about the Cats:
“Let’s start with Kentucky,” Gordon said. “Kentucky is a winning organization. (John) Calipari’s a very winning coach. It’s just a basketball program. The Wildcat Lodge is right across the street from the gym. You can get in 24 hours a day. … It’s almost like business. If you really want to play basketball, that’s the place to go.
The only bad thing about Kentucky for the California native? “The only con is it’s pretty far out there just to play basketball.”
Many thought Dakari Johnson’s commitment would mean the Cats would back off Gordon and focus on Julius Randle and Andrew Wiggins, but are Gordon’s comments a sign that it isn’t over yet? For what it’s worth, Gordon says he talks to Marcus Lee and from time to time and he sees himself winning a National Championship next season: “I can’t see it any other way.”
Hmm…

No one hex me or anything but I see this kid as the second coming as the kid (not as talented of course), but same mind set and hustle. I watched this kid play the twins and was always hustlin. I wouldn’t mind if he was an addition to next year’s team.

“The only con is its pretty far out there just to play basketball”. He does realize this is his future/career right? Your not coming out here to play at the local YMCA
