In an interview with the Herald-Leader, Andrew Wiggins’ head coach Rob Fulford shot down rumors that Florida State is Wiggins’ leader:
“That’s not coming from Andrew,” Fulford said. “He still doesn’t talk about it. Anyone that puts anything out right now — that’s pure speculation. Andrew, he doesn’t communicate with anybody. It’s not like he’s told Kentucky or anyone else, ‘I’m leaning toward Florida State.’ He doesn’t communicate like that.”
A Division 1 assistant coach told Adam Zagoria that Kentucky’s already loaded 2013 class won’t factor into Wiggins or Julius Randle’s decisions:
“Those guys are going to find their way no matter what, wherever they go to school,” the coach said. “They’re going to find their way. So I don’t think those guys, because they’re at such a high level, are even worried about who’s there.
Wiggins’ only problem right now when it comes to the Cats is finding a time to visit. Fulford says that the talented young player doesn’t have any open dates until March.
I hear Keeneland is mighty fine in April…

he resembles Jodie Meeks in that picture.
I hope Cal can get him in the blue and white. This young man can come to UK for a season that he’ll NEVER forget – heck, it might not be forgotten by anybody as this team will be so dominant. “Epic” is at hand.

Boom, this is exactly what I figured was going on involving Wiggins recruitment. Where are all of the whiners now? Cal will get Wiggins and Randle to come to UK, mark my word.

I wouldn’t exactly call this “shooting down” a rumor. If this young man is indeed as he is described by his coach, been able to keep his thought processes so personal that no one knowes where he might be leaning; “He doesn’t communicate with anybody”. He is indeed a special young man beyond his athletic abilities. Not that he needs it but, I which him well. He appears to be a very together young man. He could do somethning very special at Kentucky, perhaps a undefeated season along with sweeping all of the All-American honors like AD.
