Boston Radio Says Celtics Trying to get the Boogie

by @ 10:30 pm. Filed under Blue Blooded Opinions

A Boston radio station says tonight that the Boston Celtics are trying to finalize a deal to bring Demarcus Cousins to Boston. The trade would include basically all the Celtics mid-level players and Jeff Green to Sacramento for Cousins, and I am not sure how it helps the Kings. But whatever. Bring Cousins to Boston and things can’t help but be better.

Please happen!!!! #Free boogie the sky is the limit for this kid. Love that kid

  2. Drizzy Drake Says:

Is that a middle school Boogie picture? I’m not a Boston fan but I would be happy to see Cousins get with a proven organization that can help him become unstoppable.

  3. Bob Says:

Avery Bradley isn’t a noteworthy name?? The C’s will be giving up quite a bit to get Boogie. That being said… Make it happen Ainge!

  4. Red Says:

    Get it done, Danny!

  5. Northern Refugee Says:

Would love to see him in Celtic green! I think having Pierce and KG to mentor him would be a big boost for Demarcus and help get him in the right path!

  6. Culver Says:

Cousins is…and will always be a cancer to any NBA “team”. He’ll never grow up…I don’t care who is coach or teammates are. He’s one self-centered oversized brat!

  7. bmt22033 Says:

Not sure how Cousins and Rondo would get along. The two of them have already at least one minor tangle on the court.

  8. Bill says to Boogie Says:

    Go to Dallas.

  9. Bradley Says:

    6. Your butter burgers suck like your opinion.

  10. Cathead Says:

    I hope so!

  11. Cathead Says:

Can u say bored ul fans?

  12. henry earl Says:

7 it wasn’t even that bad of an incident. Rondo just sticks up for his teammates, as he would for Demarcus should he come to Boston. I can’t imagine there being an issue.

  13. James K Says:

It helps the Kings in that they really think that DeMarcus is a cancer (I love the kid, but lets face it, he was), and the Celtics are treading water with an aged team that has ineffective late first round young pieces that can’t help them make the jump. Helps both teams.

  14. phili5 Says:

Um judging by that picture, almost any hetero male would be paying basu a lot of attention.

  15. Bird from Kentucky Says:

Hope this happens. Celtics need some extra talent, Cousins would bring some scoring and rebounding. They need some youth on the team and this would be great for the future. Celtics also need more outside shooting.

  16. Culver Says:

    9/ Try harder twit!

  17. Mike Says:

KSR missed the not-so-veiled Rick Pitino jab in the first line of the NESN story. That line “Demarcus Cousins may be walking through that door” is a direct reference to Pitino’s public breakdown as Celtics coach, when he said, “Larry Bird is not walking through that door. McHale is not walking through that door. Parish is not walking through that door” – or something very similar. It is an all-time classic interview.

  18. The Bandersnatch Says:

    16. Actually #9 made me LOL.

  19. UL2UK8 Says:

I think it would be great for him to go to a team like Boston.

  20. H.A. Milton Says:

    @Culver, Ditto on #18…twit.

  21. Delk for 3 Says:

DeMarcus just has some issues and he needs some babying from his bosses. The first team that gives it to him will be the team who is ultimately rewarded with many, many wins. I think he could make the Celtics into a major contender for the championship.

  22. Syrin Says:

Cousins has had issues at every single level he’s played, he got one coach fired at Sacramento, and now he’s get shopped around. What’s the single and only common denominator? The man child himself. team and coach killer. If Rondo and Cousins have issues, that entire team will explode.

  23. Bob Day Says:

Boston is one of the best coached and managed teams in the NBA. I think it would be a near perfect environment for Demarcus. I would love to see him there working and playing with that professional staff and those future Hall of Famers. I hope Danny and Wyc can make it happen.

  24. BBNFan98 Says:

    What a thug.

  25. bluefan Says:

Best possible situation for DMC and the Celtice in my opinion. Can you imagine how good Boogie could be with Rondo passing to him? Hope it happens soon.

  26. MemphisCat Says:

Memphis radio is talking about the Grizz willing to give up Zach Randolph for Cousins. They see his potential and it would be close to his home in Alabama.

  27. CAUKFAN Says:

Kings suck. One beast can’t change that.

    Culver is and idiot.
