#1. UofL could beat UK every year and win countless bowls until the end of time and no one will ever care. How’s that feel, Little Irrelevant Brother? Granted you had a good year, beating the 4th or 5th best SEC team in a very down Sugar Bowl.

Hate to say it guys but its hard not to like Charlie Strong and admire what he is doing at UofL.I don’t think they are anywhere near where Petrino had them but they are getting there. I think it is actually great for football and great for UK to have them playing at this level. It will only make our rivalry get better and better once Stoops has this thing turned around and I don’t think it will take that long for him to do it.Especially if we can get players like Ben Bradley to jump on board.

I’d slow down on crowning Charlie Strong. He’s beat ONE team in 3 yrs that had more talent. Just because UF took a month off and UL played well in victory doesn’t make the guy a genius. He’s the same guy that lost to FIU, Marshall, UCONN, Syracuse etc. I’ve watched his teams underperform at least 10 times in 3 seasons. I’ve seen them overperform once.

UL is completely irrelevant in football. Their bowl win was a fraud because they came from the Big East which is undeserving of any bowl bids. Plus,UF has been an overrated joke all season. The difference in the two programs is that UF fans are talking about firing Muschamp after losing to UL in the Sugar Bowl and UL fans would have had a parade even if they lost.
I will be surprised if UK doesn’t beat UL in at least 4 of the next 5 years.
