Jeronne Maymon was selected 2nd Team All-SEC in the preseason but was expected to miss nonconference play after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. That turned into an entire season after suffering a setback in November. Maymon was the team’s leading rebounder last season averaging 8.1 rebounds per game along with 12.7 points. Jarnell Stokes is already a power in the Tennessee frontcourt, but Maymon’s presence could’ve been enough to challenge Kentucky’s two towers. Kentucky will not have to face the duo until Dakari Johnson and Marcus Lee take the court in 2013-14.

Wonder why World Wide Wes was at John’s game a couple days before he committed to uk? I thought Cal told Mitch Wes would not be involved with the program.
@AdamZagoria: Hearing that Worldwide Wes is among those at Roselle Catholic tonight where Dakari Johnson is. The 6-11 Johnson is down to UK, Cuse & GTown

Should be Johnson’s not John’s.

You mean Stokes isn’t going to be a first rounder this year? Shades of What’s His Face from Hopkinsville a couple of years ago. The writer obviously still lives in the Billy Clyde era. We’re ‘posed to worry about UT? I don’t think so.

If only Maymon had stretched instead of thinking he was Stokes

I probably have a bit more insight than “Dear UL and IU fans, We are national champions; you are not. The end.” But you know, whatever. Judge based upon a picture.
Also, Mr. Wade and I don’t share the same spelling.
