Our friend Jason Jordan over at USA Today always seems to have the inside track when it comes to the nation’s top recruits. Jordan tweeted this afternoon that Dakari Johnson, one of Kentucky’s remaining 2013 targets, speaks to Kentucky assistant coach Orlando Antigua more than any other coach: “Coach O keeps me updated on everything.”
Who else is recruiting Johnson? James Young, the talented shooting guard who has already signed with the Cats. Johnson said that he and Young are good friends and Young “always says we can do something special” at Kentucky.
Johnson will announce where he’s headed at the end of the month. Something tells me he’s already decided.

Holy Crap you stole my thunder. His hands look like baseball gloves. Would Cal really scream “you selfish mo-fo’er!” to a manbeast that large? That kid–to quote my Ashland-born father–could hunt bears with a switch!

Every time I watch him play he looks slow and out of shape. But I trust Cal way more than I trust myself to judge talent

Dang,this dude is 7 ft,280ish.i don’t care, we need him.I’ve been telling my buddy at work that we need a big to clog the middle up and thats our man right there.He’s gonna have to run alittle with the “Cats” coming in.I’ve been hearing alot about him,going to look at tube now to see what the buzz is about,since he should be coming here.Life is good BBN.
