Jabari Parker, the #2 player in the nation and one time Kentucky recruit, picked Duke over Michigan State and others this afternoon. His commitment moves Duke to second in the 2013 recruiting class rankings behind, you guess it, Kentucky.

#2 Why do you troll on this site so much. Don’t the other Dukies alow you on their site. 1 player a team not make. I think Duke loses a lot off this team and other then Mat Jones I think Duke is along way from having a championship team next year. Incase you missed it to have a class that makes you a instant contender you need 5 of the top 10.

He should have learned from Austin Rivers coach K can’t coach these type of players. Not my words those are the word of Jay Williams who played for Coach K. Rat face is a good coach it hurts me to admitt it but 4 NC are hard to deny. He has the type of team this year he does good with and they beat us fair and square. Even though we didn’t have a point guard and still only beat these young team by what 8. Hope we get a chance to play them again.
People like Will S make me hate Duke even more. Why would anyone go to anther teams site and troll. This is a UK fan site why does he think we want to hear a Dukies point of view.

#12 yes they said the same thing about MKG. Saying the same about Wiggins this year. There sure have been a lot of the best since LaBron. The only one who they haven’t dubbed the next LeBron was AD and he probably was the best since James.

ESPN creamed their pants with this commitment. They have pushed this kid for the last 12 months when others in the class have been outperforming him. Now he heads to the school that ESPN loves. Get ready for another round of ESPN marketing similar to how they pimped Austin Rivers last year.

2 isnt trolling he has a right to say he “loves it” let em all he said was he didnt like it. Hes not trolling or he would be talking smack, all he said is that he hope the game is played again and that he wishes they would play in start of year again.
We dont have to be worried about Parker. Parker stated that Cal let off him. I think that Cal thinks that he should go for Wiggins, Cal knows that he should try his hardest and put all his effort toward Wiggins.

Why hasn’t anyone mentioned the fact he is attempting to dribble a ball at what is probably the least practical place? On the ledge right by a lake? It’s going to bounce off the edge. How many balls did he dribble into the water during this photoshoot? Also? He looks cold.

29) your right. That’s what sickens me about coach K. Go back and look at a lot of Cals one and done kids and you will see Duke was on the list of top 5 schools recruiting them. Cal just beat him and then he whines about the one and done players. Kinda playing both sides I think. That’s why I respect Ole Roy at least he says he was trying to get the kids too.
18) it’s kinda hard to grip about ESPN now. After the all- access plus they do cover us a lot since Cal came on campus. Kinda hard to blame them for not covering the Tubby years. It was boring and except for 2 or3 years UK wasn’t really relavent.
28) he’s a troll because he comes on here 2 or 3 times a day talking about Duke if you want to talk Duke go with him to a duke site. Because judging by the reaction he gets every day I’m not the only one who doen’t want to hear about Duke. Every day 2 or 3 will call him out for Trolling.

Good player but Cal never recruited him hard. At one point some where saying UK was the favorite and Cal stopped recruiting him. My guess Wiggins is the superior player and Cal knew he couldn’t get them both. I see where some experts are saying Wiggins is leaning towards FSU coming on the heels of his visit. I think when Cal gets him on Campus early next year we will seal the deal.
Flordia is full of great prep schools like the one Johnson is at instead he chose to go to a school ann the Kentucky boarder. No coincidence all this drawn out recruiting process is made so that sites like Rivals can make money these coaches know who’s going where or have a pretty good idea. This is the twins recruitment all over again with the same result . Just like Johnson is going to UK

i don’t think cal was after parker very hard. cal, payne and antigua were at th game last thurs watching the twins play against aaron gordon, who looked great. look for gordon or wiggins to come on board

37) just by reading what’s on these type post looks as if Cal has backed off Randle as well. Randle has Texas and Flordis a head of Uk if the talking heads know what they’re doing. Looks like Johnson is a UK lock with his coach saying as much. I sure would like to see Gordon at Uk kid can ball. I find it hard to think Cal won’t get Wiggins he’s been after him for a couple Years.

Being a Mormon I was really hoping he’d come to UK, or at worst go to BYU. Now that he’s going to Puke, I’m sick. Because I hate Duke so much that I really can’t see me rooting for this kid. Perhaps he’ll serve his mission. The age requirement for young men is now 18, which is a big change from the former 19 years old. IF he serves a mission, that would happen BEFORE he ever plays a college game, and then after two years he’d need a couple years at Puke to get his game back.

Im starting to wonder if we are goin to have room for all these kids. I know it’s only December, but Poythress and Goodwin just aren’t ready right now. And many suspected Harrow would leave but I don’t see that happenin either. It looks like all walk ons who were givin scholarships will have to give those up if this is the case. And the we will also have unhappy 5 stars on the bench. It’s goin to be interesting how this season plays out.

Why do I have to explain this again?? I listen to the Walk Ons podcast, which is 2 Duke writers + Matt Jones. I started to look at this site last summer for recruiting updates, but began to love it because of Drew and the other writers humor. It’s a fun, entertaining site and I enjoy supporting Matt. Is that really trolling? If you read what I said, I said UK would be great next year too and I’d love to see them play Duke.
