Probably closer to the truth… for NOW
November 19th, 2012 at 3:21 pm
a close game vs a top 10 opponent without ya starting PG makes ya drop 5 spots??
Whatever, we’ll be back when it counts ….

no problem with this it all. We are the highest ranked team with a loss. All that matters is that we are a #1 or #2 seed in March. I would love to play any of the teams above us, none of them scare me.
November 19th, 2012 at 3:22 pm
1 & 2 – Well said, both of you.
November 19th, 2012 at 3:23 pm
2) 5 spots is not that bad when 1-7 are unbeaten and 9-11 are unbeaten. I agree with #1, it’s probably about right until we know what’s going on at PG. NC State dropped 9 spots for losing to Oklahoma St (previously unranked).

Out-played, Out-coached, Out-CLASSED by the Blue Devils.

#6, Can you elaborate?
November 19th, 2012 at 3:29 pm
#6, don’t forget out-flopped!
November 19th, 2012 at 3:30 pm
6) Out poop-toothed
November 19th, 2012 at 3:30 pm
7 – No, trolls can’t elaborate.
November 19th, 2012 at 3:31 pm
3)thats what Calipari has pretty much said, he knows by March there isn’t a team
that can match his talent. On a big stage, if the best teams we possibly have to play
is IU and UL, then I like our chances to hang #9
November 19th, 2012 at 3:31 pm
#6 – You forgot Out-flopped.
November 19th, 2012 at 3:31 pm
6) Out floor-slapped
November 19th, 2012 at 3:32 pm
Out rat-faced.
November 19th, 2012 at 3:33 pm
Not bad at all!!! Considering #1 and #2 haven’t played any real talent yet!!
November 19th, 2012 at 3:33 pm
#6 – You stay classy! Oh, wait, never mind.
November 19th, 2012 at 3:37 pm
Aw Shucks!!! Don’t mind rankings till March, and my favorite girl is April

Who cares about the rank right now…but there are not 7 better teams than UK, even today. People don’t want to hear it, but we are a top 3 team right now. Not that we’re great, but everyone else sucks. UK and UCLA will have more draft picks than the ENTIRE top ten right now. The top two teams have 1, maybe 2 NBA players combined. So, if you can get good odds on UK for the title right now, take it.
November 19th, 2012 at 3:46 pm
UK could lose on a last second overtime half court heave by Duke, and drop 4-5 spots…now if Duke lost to a team like Lehigh by 10 at cameron stadium they would move up 3 spots
November 19th, 2012 at 3:48 pm
Yawn. Wake me with relevant news, please.
November 19th, 2012 at 3:49 pm
Means about as much as Pitino’s mouth.
November 19th, 2012 at 3:54 pm
Michigan in top 5… lol.
November 19th, 2012 at 3:55 pm
Yep, that’s what happens when you have the nerve to play some real competition early in the season. Matters not the ranking in November.
November 19th, 2012 at 4:00 pm
#18. I don’t agree at all that IU and UL only have 1-2 NBA players combined. Dieng, Behanan,Blackshear and Harrel will all be NBA players. Maybe not all of them will be stars, but they will be in the NBA. But I agree that there are not 7 better teams than UK.

I know I’m getting picky here, but maybe somebody could explain this to me.
San Diego St. gets beat by a lower seeded team in the first round of the tourney last year. They’ve lost to Syracuse (not close)this year, and beaten two cupcakes. How are they in the top 25?
November 19th, 2012 at 4:33 pm
25. And you care why?
November 19th, 2012 at 4:42 pm
Yes, and?
November 19th, 2012 at 5:40 pm
6.) got outed
November 19th, 2012 at 6:43 pm
Lets wait and see where raked the 1st of March. Coach Cal will have us in the top 4.
