Not all Kyles fault, we know he is not a guy that can get his own shot. We need to get him open, none of that was even attempted. He usually gets shots from drive and kick, but puke stayed with him. His other shots come in transition but we did not get a transition game going as puke only had 8 turnovers.
Why did WCS only get 6 minutes. I kept yelling to play him more but Cal did not hear me I guess. He could have made a difference with how physical puke played.
I just can’t really understand how Beckham was good enough to play decent minutes for a good Miss. St. team as a freshman but doesn’t ever sniff the floor for a team that needs some help defensively.
I LOVE Goodwin’s fire taking it to the basket. He still has those awkward drives that get him lost in the trees, but twice he tried to kill Plumlee with a monster jam…he is a born scorer and I cant wait so see him in March. He has little bit of Bledsoe’s batsh!t crazy in him when it comes to attacking the rim.
10 — I agree we do need to help Kyle out and I think that will come. We could certainly use more screening action to get Kyle AND Julius open looks. Neither one can really create very well and could be really be useful if we ran some sets for them. I’m pretty sure Cal will figure that out. He knows better than trying to fit square pegs into round holes.
#10 EXACTLY. Let’s face it offensively we are stagnant,
and don’t know how to run a good offence let alone “play
for each other” as Cal preaches. But, I suppose that’s
what is expected for a second game with Freshman. Great
effort by our guys. We will rise and we be good….very
good.
Plumlee fouled 3 times in 15 seconds after getting his 2nd in the first half. Key to the game that none were called. Also, Sulliman hitting three treys was big considering he’s terrible.
Willie Stein 0 rebs = sitting next to coach. Kyle has to quit pump faking so much. You’re 6’10 just shoot the darn ball. What happened to Kyles unstoppable hook shot?
sure didn’t take long for messrs. wiltjerk & poison to come back down to earth w/major thuds…along w/hood, these 3 ought neva get in, xcept for mop-up!!!
What a load of crap. I stayed up till 1am for that?!?! Why even play the game if you can’t do any better than that! Cal and the team should apologize to each and every fan that wasted their money going to Atlanta!

I must play better

Wiltjer 5 shots in 32 minutes. I did more shots before the first commercial break.
November 14th, 2012 at 12:36 am
Wiltjer dude………32 minutes, 5 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds? That’s not going to cut it. He was abused defensively as well.

I can’t believe there is no room to try to let Beckham play. From what I understand, he is a strong defender.

The same Wiltjer and Polson that scored 19 and 10 and won the game for us against Maryland? Right…
